Takitsuba appeared during halftime of the All-Stars Baseball game on 20th July 2007 (Takki’s off-day from Enbujou) and sang “Samurai”. Bonnie has the clips posted up at her site, so do check them out if you haven’t! Cynthia has also sent me a scan from a Hongkong newspaper of the event *ARIGATO~~*

Btw, Enbujou DVD has dropped to #2 for 22nd July daily music dvd ranking on Oricon Style. I just pray that it’ll be #1 by the end of the week ne… Not sure what kind of sales figure to expect… I already see the rips everywhere the day after its release, so it’s quite scary… but I will try not to be bothered too much by it ^-^ I figure, as long as we have done our part, the rest is beyond our control~~ ^-^

KYYYAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~ OMG I HAVE to talk about it!! But nobody around me has watched it yet… so I can’t say much… but wooowww, the entire production is so amazing na~~~

I went thru ALOT to finally get my hands on this DVD, including numerous phonecalls to and from SingPost after a failed delivery attempt yesterday. Have to thank my dad and brother, one for helping me call as well, and the other for fetching me to the Post office to collect it after work.

Then, had to rush for dinner with dad’s friend. We had chilli crab, oats coated calamari *yummy*, kangkong, beancurd speciality, sweet and sour pork, and claypot chicken!!! Followed by Swenson’s icecream, so by the time I reached home, it was 11.50pm *and I was bloated*. After opening and admiring the *kira kira* package (and taking pics of it too lol~), it was past midnight!

Above: This is how it looks after removing the DVD box from the plastic wrapper. It’s very shiny and takki-rashi~ but it’s hard to capture the kira kira-ness of it with camera ^^ Moreover, recently I’m into gold and silver things, so I really really love the cover!

Above: This is the inside of the box, 2 discs, white and pinku, with a booklet. The discs are simple shiny ones with flowers on it~ very takki-rashi again ^^

Then, I thought I’d just watch one disc la~ but ended up watching EVERYTHING, although I was very very tired!!!! BTW, I slept at 3.30am LOL^^ I was quite surprised at myself for not dozing off during the Yoshitsune talking segment coz obviously I din understand what they were saying~~~

Takizawa-kun~ Omedetou!!!!!!!

Takizawa Enbujou DVD is #1 on the Oricon charts in the Music and Overall categories on the first day of sales, that should be pre-order sales (and probably sales from the Enbujou 2007 venue)? I’m quite afraid of looking at oricon charts now after the previous two “disasters”… And we know that only the weekly chart counts. So…

President will continue his battle @ Takizawa Enbujou 2007!! (while I stare at his kawaii white sandals)

Tsubasa went to see Enbujou yesterday and sang the Obon version of X~Dame with Takki. And Tsubasa will be on the cover of the Sept 2007 issue of Look@Star. Seems like this is his first solo cover appearance.

Then, there’s news about Jackie Chan’s upcoming movie “Shinjuku Jiken”. Apparently, this movie has been in planning for 10 years! Articles mention Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, and Ken Watanabe as confirmed cast. And there’s mention of a female Japanese actress who’s not yet selected. NO mention of Takki at all as any part of the cast.

I found this article and the last para states:

此前，曾有消息称日本新生代偶像泷泽秀明也将加盟《新宿事件》，与成龙组成“JackieTackie”组合征战好莱坞，对此，尔东升昨日接受记者采访时表示，影片尚未最后确定演员阵容，因此现阶段不便透露详情。

which translates to:

There was news previously that Japan’s new generation idol Takizawa Hideaki will be involved in , and form a group with Jackie Chan “JackieTackie” to take on Hollywood. With regards to this, Yee Tung-Shing (director) expressed yesterday during the press interview that, the final cast hasn’t been decided for this movie yet, hence they are unable to reveal any further details at this point of time.

Only a few reports out of the hundreds I found mentioned this. I’m not sure how reliable these newspapers are, but Takki’s part in this movie isn’t confirmed yet. It has been 2 years since this Jackie&Tackie thing was mentioned, and nothing is concrete yet… Sigh… I’ll be really sad if discussions fall through, and Takki will not be acting in this movie afterall… I’ve been looking forward to this for so long ne~~I feel that it’ll be good for him to be exposed to filming movies of such scale, it’ll be good exposure, plus we all know he really wants to be part of this! Acting is his forte afterall… not singing, not dancing… (these are aikata-kun’s *lol*)

On to happier things, my Enbujou DVD has been shipped!! *YAY* SingPost still has no information yet but the package has left Tokyo early this morning (according to the Japan post tracking ^^). Really hope that it’ll arrive tomorrow and somebody anybody will be at home to receive it!!

OMG it’s almost 12!! Probably I study one lesson before going to bed…
but before I do so…
