Welcome back everyone~ It’s been a while ne! First and foremost, we‘d like to wish everyone a very merry Xmas and a happy new year!!
Although Takki.us is back, our very own Mich has a wedding coming up and we have a trip from January to February, so we will be quite busy in our private lives. But we will try to do the best we can with Takki Tidbits. Yoroshiku ne!
Now onto the more serious stuff… Besides the fact that we wanted a new layout for the site, the other reason why we decided to go on this long hiatus was because we couldn’t stand going through another unit release.
In all honesty, ever since the solo rush in 2009, it’s just been hard for us to appreciate anything “unit.” 

When Takki’s solo debut was announced, we were so excited because we had been waiting years for something so amazing to happen in his career. But we were completely offended when barely any one from the fandom congratulated Takki. Instead, many of them criticized him for “abandoning the unit.†Those people, however, have never once complained about Tsubasa’s solo work, nor have they ever accused him of being disloyal to the unit.
But what’s said cannot be taken back and what’s done is done. With this newly renovated site, we just want to be extra clear that we will continue supporting Takki… but only as a solo artist. If you don’t feel comfortable reading a pro-solo site, then you are welcome to leave. But for those who want to continue supporting us, thank you and yoroshiku!
Once again, merry Xmas and may 2012 be a better year for Takki fans. But most importantly, may there be plenty of fantastic solo opportunities for Takki this upcoming year… like a drama or TV show!! Kami-sama, onegaishimasu!

Yaaay, welcome back too! I’ve really missed going here for the latest news & updates on Takki daily. When the site was in maintenance, I was hoping it wasn’t closed for good. (there were rumors on FB that made it seem like it was) So happy & glad to see/hear that it’s not and it’s back up n’running again. ♥

I will support takki.us 100% coz i am Takki’s fan~~i 100%agree what you have said. some of the TakiTsuba fans complainted about Takki’s 2009 solo activities but never questioned Tsubasa’s since 2004. He was the one started the solo activities, not our Takki! I hope there will be more solo opportunites coming up soon after 10th anniversity.

But even with all biases aside, it’s clear that at this point in his life, going solo is the only thing that can help Takki further his career. He’s most successful when he’s acting, producing, and directing, but he’s not really able to do any of those things when he’s with Tsubasa. Plus, it’s no secret that T&T are doing very poorly in terms of sales and popularity…
But some people are too blind to see the truth behind this… so it can’t be helped.

I guess things will only change in 2013 as next year is TT’s 10th anniversary. I think Johnnys/Avex will have to celebrate for them although the sale figures are dropping.
I hope Tono will give us some surprise in Takumei~~can’t wait any more~~3 days to go~~still waiting for the goods list!
