Takki Tidbits

Iya~ gomen nasai! We didn’t manage to catch the WS this morning… but I’m sure someone must’ve recorded them, so hopefully, it’ll be on Youku or Tudou soon!

Most of the newspaper articles mentioned how generous Takki was in giving otoshidama to all 180 of his kouhais who are in Takki to Tomo ni.

Yomiuri, however, used a different headline to catch the attention of its readers… The title was “He can do as he please – says Johnny Kitagawa regarding Takki’s marriage”.

I almost fell off my chair in shock when I read this at first, but IT’S OKAY, IT’S A FALSE ALARM. Takki is not getting married! At least not now… *phew*

Here are some tidbits from various newspaper articles :

• In this year’s battle scene, they used about 30 tons of water.
• They did their one and only run-through rehearsal of Act 2 on the morning before the first Takki to Tomo ni show! uwah sugoi!! Even Johnny-san praised Takki about this and Takki just very cooly replied “We’re Johnny’s afterall.”
• Takki said he wants 2013 to be a year where he’s able to show the “actor” side of Takizawa Hideaki…. Let’s hope that means more dramas!!
• When asked if Takki had any “good news” coming up in regards to his private life, Takki said “I don’t have any plans yet, but the desire is there. I am a man afterall.” Johnny-san also commented about this, saying, “That’s his freedom, so I have no right to say anything about the matter. He can do as he please.” (which sounds to me like another slap in the face to Jin, imo… lol)
• Johnny-san also said “He’s an idea man. He gets things done in one or two days. He’s also got a side of him that’s good at management. Perhaps he’ll become a film director in the future?” and seemed rather supportive of Takki’s interest in backstage work.
• In regards to the 180 otoshidama’s, Takki said, “It was no joke, but it’s the thought that counts. Afterall, I receive otoshidama from my sempais every year too. This year, I received one from Higashiyama-san again.”
• According to Johnny-san, their phones have been ringing nonstop because many fans are requesting for more Johnny’s World. So it’s been decided that they will do a “Johnny’s Kanshasai” event at Tokyo Dome on March 16 and 17 (and also in Osaka later that month). However, we’re not sure whether Takki will be participating in this… Let’s hope there will be a guest appearance of some sort?
