During this hiatus, we posted all Takki Tidbits at our Takki.us page on Facebook.
But here is an overview for those who missed them.
March 1
- The Teikoku Gekijou 100th Anniversary Party was held @ Tokyo Kaikan (located behind the theatre) on March 1, 2011. Takki, Koichi, and all the biggest stars (who have ever graced the stage of Teikoku Gekijou) attended this event.
- Update @ Johnny’s Net. Pictures were added to every JE group’s profile. (This is shocking because photos of the artists had always been prohibited on public websites).
- Past episodes are now available for viewing @ TakiChannel! HOWEVER, they can not be downloaded and can only be viewed online with a password. You have to pay approximately 52 yen per video (per password). The videos can be viewed within 72 hours after purchase.
March 2
- Jikan Ryoko PV aired the morning of March 3 @ 7:30 on Space Shower’s “New Cuts”
- At FiVE’s concert in Nagoya, Nakaegawa Rikiya made an announcement about his plans to marry his girlfriend on March 3. Takki was said to be one of the witnesses at the marriage registration ceremony (although it was unclear whether Takki went to Nagoya for this or if it was held to Tokyo).
March 3~4
- On March 3rd, an extra 12:00 show was added to T&T’s SPECIAL LIVE concert schedule at Intex Osaka. Balloting results for the concerts were also dispatched to Japanese fans.

March 6
- An eyewitness tweeted that he saw Takki in Las Vegas with someone who looked like his girlfriend. This was sometime between Feb 21 to 25. He also noted that Takki had beautiful skin. There was only one eyewitness, so we do not know if this is 100% true.
- A new monjayaki restaurant called “Takizawaya” opened in Shibuya on March 3. Among all the congratulatory flowers that were on display outside the restaurant, there was one from “Takizawa Hideaki.” The author of this blog said that when he asked one of the staff, he was told that the owner of the restaurant was Takki’s older brother.
March 7~9
- On March 7th, Takki made an appearance on FujiTV’s Nep League.
- Avex updated the official T&T site with a new layout.
- On March 8th, Takki made an appearance on NTV’s “Dasshutsu Game DERO!”

- On the “Takizawaya” blog, the owner (Takki’s older brother) thanked Takki for his congratulatory flowers. The translation : “Takizawa Hideaki-sama, thank you very much for the beautiful flowers. Good luck at your stage play. I can’t go because I have work, but I’ll be rooting for you. Do take care of yourself.”

Fans could enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to one of the following destinations : A) The Takki Prize : Las Vegas. B) The Tsubasa Prize: Spain. C) The Takitsuba Prize : Hawaii.
March 12~14
- On March 12th, at the “Takizawaya” blog, Takki’s older brother confirmed that all his restaurant staff and family members were okay. After the earthquake, this was the first (reliable) source to confirm that Takki was okay and safe.
- The Denpajou episode on March 13th was cancelled in Tokyo, but was aired on-time in other areas of Japan. According to a fan’s transcript… Tono had returned from his annual trip to Las Vegas (where he usually goes in search of inspiration for Takizawa Kabuki). Takki said that he also went down to San Francisco for a wrestling match. He had front row seats and he even brought a wrestling mask with him and wore it as he watched the match.
- On March 14th, Johnny’s Net and Johnny’s International confirmed that all Johnny’s talents were safe.
March 15
- Johnny’s Net announced that the SPECIAL LIVE concerts on March 20th and 21st at Intex Osaka had been cancelled. A message from T&T to the disaster victims was also posted.
- Later in the day, newspaper articles stated that Johnnys Jimusho had cancelled all their March shows (including T&T Osaka con, Yamapi solocon, HSJ con, Endless Shock, etc). Several trucks meant for transporting equipment/supplies and vehicles meant for generating power/energy for the live shows were lent for free to aid rescue efforts. These trucks and vehicles are capable of powering up hospitals and/or transporting food supplies to the victims.
March 17~18
- TV shows (like TBS’s “Chubo desu yo!” and “Ousama no Brunch”) that were cancelled due to the earthquake were scheduled to be re-aired.
- On March 18th, T&T made an appearance on Music Station Live. Songs that expressed “messages of support” were performed by all the artists that attended. So instead of promoting Jikan Ryokou, T&T sang Ai wa Takaramono.
March 19
- A pre-recorded VTR of T&T was aired on TBS’s Ousama no Brunch. Takki’s appearance on TBS’s “Chubo desu yo!” was also re-aired.
- An eyewitness tweeted that she saw a guy with a beautiful face and brown hair loading boxes onto one of Johnny’s Jimusho’s relief supply trucks. She later realized that it was Takki and said “It’s likely that he can’t go (to the disaster-struck areas), but it was awesome to see him carrying things (onto the truck) with the staff and with such sincerity.”
- On the March 19th episode of Denpajou, Takki talked about the wrestling match that he went to in San Francisco. Apparently, when he was getting up to leave, people around him pointed out that he could take home the pipe/folding chair (that he sat in) as a souvenir. As a result, he packed it into a cardboard box and had it shipped to his house (lol).
March 20~23
