» Orthros no Inu Episode 2 English Subs
My thoughts on this episode behind the cut. Do not read if you haven’t watched!
I love this episode (and I don’t care what happens with the rating lol), though I only understood about 90%. Totally didn’t catch that part in the hospital VIP room… yet. Not until I watch the subs.
I absolutely love the carpark scene! And I… I think Ryuzaki was really about to heal Mio-chan when he walked towards them… But baka Nagisa pushed the alarm? Hmm… Is he like 100% evil? Or does he still have that little bit of kindness in him? Does the lyrics in “Hikari Hitotsu” mean anything? Is it referring to Ryuzaki? “Kanashimi kakushite (Hiding my sadness)…” What made Ryuzaki like this? Does he have a family?
And the emergency room scene at the end was classic… S!Ryuzaki vs M!Aoi-sensei! Always fun to watch! ^^ Did he save the children only so that he could show Hikaru’s father his power? Did he only want to teach Aoi how to use his power? Ryuzaki’s yasashi smile towards Aoi at the end… killed me! Just like that smile in Episode 1 XD
One more thing I have to say, I love Takki’s ‘body shape’ LOL! Sounds weird I know, but I love the way his clothes fit his body! ^^ Hikaru has a good ‘shape’ too. As for Ryo… I think maybe coz he’s a teacher so he’s not supposed to look cool… (that’s why the focus is on his pants? lol)… Oh, and they showed the Title Back (opening video) too. The image in this post was taken from that :)
I have the same thought as u when watching the carpark scene, And the last scene when he was standing in front of Kana’s bed. I thought in his mind he was fighting between good and evil, between being himself and being be able to change the world. Remember when he said if you want to change the world then you have to be cruel like god. He wanted to use Kana as a bait to Aoi, but he also wanted to save her…that was what I thought.
i think the song is about ryuzaki. and i think that’s why they changed the lyric and title, to make ryuzaki character more prominent than others.
mich, i thought it’s only me, but yeay for you, too! i really, really like his body shape. so huggable !!! my imagination always goes wild everytime i look at him; his arm, his shoulder, his chest, his waist… damn! extra point to the costume coordinator. i love his fitted clothes. LOL
What can I say to add to all these comments, except that I agree 100%!
I think this episode was more interesting than the first because of the development of the characters. I believe as well that there is more to Ryuzaki’s character, as suggested by the song. He is a relative of Taiyou no Kisetsu’s Tatsuya. A person not fundamentally bad, but whom circumstances and maybe ambition have pushed in one direction. At least it is my humble view so far.
As for Ryo, gomen, maybe it’s his excellent acting, but he seems truly a naive well intentioned jerk in this.
I will not add to the heady thoughts about Takki’s body. LOL – Do you think we are biased? NO!!!
another thing I like about this drama is that I think Ryuzaki’s dialogues are really smart, direct, straight to the heart of his opponent.
I’m looking for his drama further cause I think it’s interesting plot and challenging his skill acting.I approve feel dazed in bad side of Takki’s character. But he look very handsome and fascinating!!!
About the hospital children, didn’t he have Aoi do that to create a diversion? I mean, he didn’t want to go public with his power right then and there or else it wouldn’t be valuable to Hikaru’s father.
And you are all so naughty, talking about “body shapes”. XD I’m sorry, but there is no disguising Ryo’s “coolnes.” And how frickin cute is he for reading his student poetry!? I would totally love to have him as my teacher! Demo… since he’s not, I can drool more, right?
