My thoughts behind the cut (contains spoilers!):
OMG!KAKKOII!KYAAA!! Those were my reactions whenever Ryuzaki appeared~ he looks really good in this episode ne! Like the best of the 3 episodes so far… First, that scene with Hikaru at the coffeeshop — the way he looked at Hikaru (he did it on purpose desho! Cure Kana so that Masaru can target her~), and when he was eating with his sunglasses on! (Kyaaa~!), and then my favourite was when he was with Mio-chan at the playground. What a kakkoii – and yayashii – ojisan! He called himself “the righteous guy who saved you & your mom at the carpark”. He can’t be totally bad rite! Right? He just needs some love? Hahaha~
Ahhh, and when he said what he wants is “…love, perhaps.”, my reaction was exactly the same as the minister’s!! I smiled then laugh out! lol~ Was he serious? But from the preview of the next epi, Nagisa held his hand towards her body, and his look was so… *DIES* He looks like he really yearns for love, and it seems like he wanted to get himself sentenced to death 10 years ago? But from the tv mags, we know that she’ll arrest him after that scene *bad Nagisa*. He talked about gorillas in Ep1, and then bird’s nests in Ep3. He seem to know what he’s doing. But I just want to know what’s going on in that mind of his haha~ and the truth to that incident 10 years ago.
And the most shocking discovery of this episode… is definitely the fact that Ryuzaki can heal others, but not himself!! OMG, that is just soooooo damn sad!! Isn’t this… a bit like Takki himself? Sigh… Anyway, I’m going to rewatch it again in HD… I just hope that for the remaining episodes will show more of Ryuzaki, less of the side characters. They’re taking up too much screen time (and chasing viewers away).
Oh yes, “Takki” appeared in this episode desho! LOL~~~~ That “AH!!” in the car!! fufufu~ Kawaii~ XD

I did like that scene with Mio-chan. One gets the definite impression that this reveals his inner self: kind and loving, but made to hide those traits by what he perceives as life’s needs.
I did wonder about the significance of his not being able to heal himself. Will it kill him in the end, just as he is redeemed? I had better not think about it too much… Japanese dramas often have sad endings.
Can’t express it well in English, but when Nagisa’s daughter calls him Ojiisan, the reluctant look on his face is so natural and cute.
The dark hero wants love. It reminds me the animation Beauty and the Beast and the film Léon. Ryuzaki is another one who’is struggling for warmth through a dark and cold world?
I also hit on a song from The Beatles “All you need is love”. It’s really a song for Ryuzaki.

I’m trying not to read spoilers, so I can’t comment, plus my hubs is challenging me not to make Takki is so cute, adorable, hot, to die for…etc while watching. I’m suppose to focus on the story and acting. lol…my inner fangirl is just screaming and I have to come here to let it out.
simone~ i feel the same, and he shouldn’t let kumakiri know this most important secret. but the way he said it was like… no big deal, it’s just ‘inconvenient’ that i can’t heal myself. and with the kind of power he has, he’s always a giver, so ppl might ‘love’ him becoz they want his power. probably that’s why he wants to be loved for who he is, rather than for the benefits that he can given the other.
@takki~ i saw that look too. he seemed slightly shocked. he wants to be a politician to change the world? brings me back to the opening line of episode 1…

i squeal everytime ryuzaki appears too! ever since episode 1.. thankfully he stopped wearing the L attire. XD and YES TAKKI APPEARED!!! that smile was DEFINITELY NOT RYUZAKI. and i think i went back to that scene 10 times just to see that smile again XDDDDD
I love the car scene. It’s so Takki …childish not Ryuzaki at all. And look at Kumarigi’s face….it was so funny. And the pink mobile phone reminded of Takkisama’s concert…pink with the dog ornament…looks so cute. I want one. And the way the dress him…so nice and handsome. Cant help drooling over Takki in ep 3 so dont blame us.
omg the best was the pink cellphone. XD it’s waaaay too girly for Ryuzaki, but he looks so good with it. lol. but notice how their are two of those dogs? one white one on her cell and the one Aoi puts on Kana’s bed. *wink*
and YES!!! Takki definitely made an appearance in the car. he he he he!
OMG, Mio-chan is so cute! “I’ll never give you my mommy!” I about died. There’s no way in hell he didn’t just secretly fall in love with her either. XD
P.S. Kana has the cutest cry in history, when I bawl it’s nothing like that. ¬¬
meiranchangntp~ the white dog on the cellphone is also the same dog in nagisa’s house. it’s actually the “otousan” dog of SOFTBANK. but the other dog that aoi put on kana’s bed is a similar one sold on the TBS website, just that the color is different.
