My random thoughts (warning: *MAJOR SPOILERS!*) :
*Sobs sobs* no more Ryuzaki next week~~
But…Â IKITETE YOKATTA!!! ^^
At the beginning of this episode, the scene in the ER room was so touching… His dad actually wanted to protect him back then, that’s why he let Ryosuke and their mother leave… coz legend has it that once the God’s hand causes the destruction of the town, the Demon’s hand will destroy the God’s hand… It’s his calling… but this father didn’t want to see a brother killing the other…
Ryuzaki loved his dad… But he couldn’t save him, even though he could (sounds ironic, but you know what I mean~) But the way he looked on from outside the emergency room while his dad held his brother’s hand to his death… was so painful…
This led to my favourite scene of the episode, when Ryuzaki was talking to the little boy! He couldn’t show his true feelings or any emotions to anyone else, but could only silently weep outside… His voice~~ and that watery puppy eyes~ *so sad*… The boy asked him if it hurts somewhere, coz “although an adult, you’re crying”. Ryuzaki’s “itai yo, sugoku…” was sooo painful to hear…
I love the Ryuzaki & Mio scene at the cemetary. His manly hand holding her little small hand… This girl has held both God’s hand and Devil’s hand ne… And Mio-chan’s advice on shaking hands is kinda true too. Both God’s and Devil’s hands just have to shake hands and they’ll be fine… Actually, in this entire drama, I really love all the Ryuzaki & Mio scenes. Ryuzaki always shows his true self in front of her (and in front of kids). Their scenes are always so… pure…
Later on in the hospital, he went to say his last goodbye to Mio. Wanting to heal her… The entire children hospital scene was that catalyst needed to turn Minister Sakaki back to her old yasashii self. She was really touched by how the children are different from the ugly adults (in ep7…). One line of Minister Sakaki left an impression… “For the sake of the future, do not sacrifice the present.” She had forgotten about that, in her struggle for power…
Then, the ending was such a rollercoaster ride! I wasn’t sure if he will live or die… and my thoughts alternating between both… then… I was crying, then laughing, then crying again… I was too involved in the story… with my earphones plugged in, staring at the small 320×240 screen lol…
I really can’t remember how many times I cried while watching the final 15 mins…. and sometimes I didn’t even know why, suddenly I realised my vision was blurred. During that entire dam scene ne, my chest was filled with that tight feeling, and I was so *doki doki*, yelling in my heart many “DON’T!!!!”s and “NO!!”s…. and then, “Go, Hasabe!”… and then “Sawamura! You BIITTTCCCHH! How dare you shoot my Ryuzaki!!” LOL…
But I remember clearly, when Ryuzaki said… back when he was a kid, the only thing that saved him from his loneliness were his mom’s & brother’s smiles… and then he turned towards the water – where Ryukoku town had sunk under – and said in that painful voice, “I want to go back to that time.” Awww…. That line was the saddest for me…
So much tears at the end… and as a Takki fan too. After 6 years of renzoku drama drought, this one has come to an end so quickly. Chasing it week after week, and our 9 dates with Ryuzaki-sama… It’s so sad, coz I’ve already fallen deeply in love with the character Ryuzaki Shinji… I want to see more Ryuzaki!!
I LOVE the last scene~~ God knows how relieved I was when I saw that familiar figure appearing out of the horizons… I had assumed, that was it… the credits have appeared and all that… and my hope of him living on was getting slimmer and slimmer as the seconds ticked away… but… when I saw that silhouette, with the long flapping coat and hair blowing in the wind appearing on the screen…. I was soooooooo relieved that I kyaaed out XDDD
thank you. takki, otsukaresama deshita. mich chan, otsukarechan
wacthed the ending episode, it’s really confusing since there is not sub but still I dont get it why they dont seem to recognize each other in the end ..I mean the brothers…
Very sad for the final episode, cause not see Takki in everyweek~~
