My colleague is alright!!!! YOKATTA!!!!!! We were so worried when we read the news on the earthquake… My colleague went back to Sichuan 2 weeks ago, the day before I came back to Singapore (so I haven’t seen her for 3 weeks!). We emailed her this morning but there was no reply of course. And we couldn’t contact her as we only had her SG handphone no!
But just 15 mins ago, our boss managed to get hold of her china handphone number, and we gave it a shot~ And the network was working!!! She’s alright!! Her parents are fine too!! She said it was really really scary when it happened… and they have to sleep outside and in the car now as they can’t return to their house. It’s raining now, there are still tremors now and then, and all they have is that mobile phone (which couldn’t be used for 2 days coz the network was jammed).
But yokatta!! I’m so glad she’s alright…. that’s the most important!! When we heard her voice over the phone, we screamed!! I’ve never felt so relieved… I really miss her ne! I can’t wait to see her again next week!

thank God that your friend and her family are safe, i am glad too. The earthquake is scary, so many people died…
Glad that everything is alright with your coworker! It’s quite sad/frightening what people are going through with the quakes and tornadoes over in China/Asia. =( I hope everyone will get what they need.
