On last week’s Denpajou (3/14), Tono talked about his recent interest in cooking. He doesn’t do it a lot, but for some reason he suddenly felt like making something. “I havent cooked in a long time… I wonder if theres anything at home (that i can cook)… i feel like eating pasta… Maybe i’ll try and make it this time…” So Tono tried to make a Japanese-style pasta, adding soup stock, spinach, bacon, garlic, chili pepper, and small fish (jako) to it. And surprisingly, it tasted really good and he made it again the next day XD
Tono also talked about his weird grocery-shopping habit. Japanese shopping carts are smaller and are designed to hold two baskets – one on the top and one on the bottom. When Takki goes to the supermarket (as he often does), he usually uses and fills up two of those carts (meaning four baskets of groceries). All the obaa-chans and shoppers holding only one basket would look at him like “is he ok? does he really need that much?” But Takki says that one basket would normally be piled with drinks, so the other three are for the other groceries.
On this week’s Denpajou (3/21), Tono played the full version of his new song “シャ・ラ・ラ” and talked about his recent shopping spree. Recently, he’s been busy rehearsing for Enbujou, but when he heard about the Yamada electronics sale at the Fukuoka Yahoo!Japan Dome (on 3/14), he begged OT and said that he “wanted to go no matter what.” Being a good Manager-san, OT made some time and they went to the Home Appliances Fair with one other guy (info from Mixi eye witness).
And as a reward to himself for the effort that he put into Takizawa Kakumei, he bought a bunch of things like TV(s), computer(s), digital camera(s), a HDD recorder, and etc. Apparently, most of the goods were set up on the stadium ground and people would rush over to grab what they wanted. Takki said that he now truly understands how women/mothers feel during a department store sale XD
Here is a picture of what the Fair looked like.
