Read from the bbs…

A fan who went to the Hi! Hey! Say! recording heard this from a JFC staff… that the no. of applications received for Takizawa Kakumei’s senshuuraku show on 1/27 was almost twice the no. of seats in Yokohama Arena (seating capacity is about 17,000). So, that makes it more than 30,000 applications? And Imperial Theatre only has 1,697 S-seats. You do the calculations yourself~ just what are the chances of winning a ballot for that show? t__t; No wonder so many people lost their ballots! This show wasn’t even put up for public balloting…

Until now, Jticket hasn’t put up any Takizawa Kakumei tix for balloting either, and many people I know who have tried the public balloting lost their ballots too. Sigh~~ I hope all Takki fans will be able to get their tix! Ganbatte ne!!! *hugs*

Also, Takki will be in the January 2009 issue of “Nikkei Health” (released 12/2). [Updated: Takki will also be in the January 2009 issue of “POPEYE” (released 12/10).]

  1. Mich…. Wow….Great news! Thanks !

Although, I really have no idea and doesn’t understand how the balloting and the process of getting a ticket in Japan…..but if the no. of applications are really really many maybe Johnny’s will add some more playdates or shows to accommodate all the requests?

Ganbatte Takki! I’m so proud of you!

  2. sannah~ no, there weren’t any additional shows this time. it’s good for takki that there were so many applications, but not so good for takki fans who really wanted to go…

  3. I think indeed it is great for Takki and shows Johnny-sama how much interest there is.

It also consoles me a tiny bit of not being able to go to Tokyo in January, as clearly the resale interest will be high, also the prices, and I might not have been able to get tickets in any case!

  4. It’s always tough when you are trying to ballot. You WANT to get that ticket in the ballot and not have to resort to crazy prices for auction or ticket.co.jp, but at the same time, it feels fabulous when their butais are so incredibly oversold. Way to go Takki-sama! You rock!

  5. Yes, Tono-sama…you ROCK,dude!!!! *clap*clap*

Unfortunately for Takki fans, so sorry this had to happen to many of them not being able to get ballots or tkts to the shows. *sigh* I realize how hard this usually is, esp. for overseas fans but…maybe, hopefully…after seeing just how much Mr.Takizawa-san is in demand, maybe they might change their minds and open up more shows…who knows. Just have to ‘gambatte’ and hope for the best.
