I agree that Takki disappointed us in Utaban, he usually gets hadaka… Maybe it was because of Anami-san’s presence…
The viewership is to weep about…
ah i wasn’t expecting him to be hadaka, so it was alright. this episode of utaban was so fun!! and the performance was kakkoii~ so i’m more than satisfied :)
utaban will be changing its time slot, i guess probably due to declining ratings? anyway, next month, utabans will be on weds, not on sundays anymore…

TBS is getting severe critique these times and some people even boycott the channel. Kimutaku was able to fend it off (duh), but look at f.e. Kochikame now… Kochikame’s are way lower than OnI’s.
About Utaban.
Utaban changed from their usual Thursday night (where their ratings were around 14+ all the time) to the dead-end that is Sunday night 20:00. The reasons for the name ‘timeslot of death’ are:
– NHK’s hugely popular Taiga drama that draws 20+% without a fail every week
– NTV’s super popular variety show 世界ã®æžœã¦ã¾ã§ã‚¤ãƒƒãƒ†Q! with ratings closing in on 20% weekly too.
I was so angry when TBS put them there in the first place.
In related news, OnI has been doing fairly well in the “recorded shows” charts. Meaning that even if the ratings aren’t off the roof, people record it to watch later.
Seems like they’ll be building some real tension for the OnI-finale. Hopefully the ratings will go a bit up then :)

i also saw from a tv guide ranking that orthros is doing better in the “recorded shows” charts than the “viewership” itself. ppl aren’t usually at home on fri nights lol.
as for utaban, yah, totally wrong time slot! taiga dramas always draws > 20%, like what yoshitsune did 4 yrs ago :) but i think the main problem is TBS itself. few ppl watch TBS these days. sigh…
i hope the last 2 eps of orthros will have better ratings. they’re 75min SPs and i think they’ll be the best 2 eps of the series…
