It’s an article on the 24hr TV that Takitsuba are going to host on 18 & 19 August.
A summary of the article:
It says that the initial first choice was Nakai & Kimura of SMAP, then due to schedule problems, they could not make it. Then they wanted KATTUN to host it again (although they already hosted it last year), and thought of using the theme of ‘friendship revival’ (since Jin is back), but Johnnys Jimusho rejected. Johnnys Jimusho then recommended T&T who are interested in hosting it. They will design the T-shirt and sing the themesong for it as well. I’m so grateful that Johnny-san still believes in Takitsuba, and gives them the chance…
And this above is a screen capture from a tv clip I think. That image was from Yoshitsune’s CM rite? In any case, arigato ne, m_antung, for these^^!!

And yes, I hate to say this guys’ name but, I’m so happy that Johnny still believes in T&T. =D I’m sooooo happy 4 them to do 24hr.TV. =D Will u b posting this once it comes out?? (tho wonders why Jimusho decided to reject Kat-tun) Nyway…happy, happy, happy 4 T&T!!

Mmmm… it was my impression that the Jimusho had recommended T&T because they needed the exposure, but… they were’nt even first or second choice? That kinda blows. Knock ’em dead Takitsuba.
i think the hadaka shots are of KT? can’t really see properly but T&T had one before, the kaidan trio i think hehe.. so cute.. only a towel over *R* and *J* hehehee….

leaping lucas~ i feel the same, din know they were the 3rd choice, but we all have faith in Takitsuba, that they’ll do a good job out of it! they were afterall the leaders of the jrs who organised concerts after concerts…
I know absolutely nothing… but… I get the feeling that the Jimusho look after their own.
If you’re a good employee — turn up on time, work hard, keep your nose clean, don’t air your dirty laundry to the public and represent the Jimusho well, they will look after you.
They make sure all their units are lined up with songs, and appearances, and album releasess and concert series, and they apportion the exposure pretty evenly. You pretty much go where you’re told and do what you’re told, and so you have to admire Tackey for knowing how to weild the little bit of power he realised he had. Pretty gutsy.
T&T have definitely represented the company well and are therefore looked after. If they need a little extra help in the publicity department, opportunities are apparently furnished for them. I think they have a lot of cred with the company.
On the other hand, if you’re caught in a compromising position you are disciplined or even demoted, so that everyone in the company can see there are consequences. And if you’re in danger of going off the rails, the company organises a sabbatical for you to get your head straight.
Of course, this is all just speculation.
On another matter, my girlfriend said she read on someone’s Akame fic site that Akame were “this generation’s Tackey and Tsubasa”. I presume she means strength of relationship-wise — which is kinda sweet.
But “THIS generation”. LOL! That’s what we’re up against, we like the old guys!
you’re right, Leaping Lucas, Takitsuba have been really good boys since their junior days, never giving problems for the Jimusho (apart from lower sales figures which is out of their control). They have set good examples to their juniors and as you said, represented the Jimusho well.
I think Takki does have an amount of power, and Johnny-san is still very fond of him :)
