Johnnys Sports Day 2009

After a 5-year absence, the Johnnys Sports Day was held at Tokyo Dome yesterday. The boys were split into 2 groups: J-RED and J-WHITE. Here are some notes that I gathered from everywhere…

• Takki was the captain of J-RED!
• …although his signature was on the WHITE side of the uchiwa lol~
• Before the event started, “Orthros no Inu” DVD CM was screened, and they showed a scene from the crank up.
• Takki’s shirt no. was “8” (from his hometown 八王子? haha~)
• He was wearing the red team uniform, with one side of the pants rolled up, plus black specs that he bought the other day?~ the one in Popolo mag?
• He was wearing black underwear (I think a fan saw a bit of it lol~)
• His hair was a nice brown color (I love how fluffy it looked!!!)
• Probably he wore a new pendant.
• After appearing, he went on a cart with Kame and Jin from Kattun, and went around the stadium, waving  to fans.
• Takki was the first runner in the 2nd relay race. He was running with and against Kame and Jin (both from Kattun and J-WHITE), and Nakayama Yuma (J-RED B). Takki led his course and was the first to pass the baton to the next runner *pachi pachi*
• Takki has very beautiful running form… really kakkoii!! ^^
• J-RED A won that race :)
• J-WHITE won the race before that, so they were tied. For the deciding race, Takki teamed up with a super tiny chibi Jr, who had to run against 12 year old Shintaro-kun, who was bigger in size, so by the time Takki received the baton, he was already behind Ueda (Kattun) by about 10m.
• J-RED lost that race, and hence the entire relay by 3-2.
• During the baseball, when Uchi (J-RED) was ‘attacked’ by a flood of J-WHITE players, Takki shouted from the bench, “RED (team)!!! Go and help yo!!!” (we could hear his voice from the news clip lol~)
• Btw, J-WHITE was the overall champion.
• During the mini concert, Takki sang “Shalala” , “Venus”, as well as “Hitomi wo Tojite”.
• During the matches, “Home Party” and “Yume Monogatari” were played.
• At the end, when Morimoto-kun and his band were singing the Snow Prince theme song (which sounds like “Claire de Lune” btw~), Takki was waving both hands.
• Nakai (SMAP) joked about Takki’s eyesight, asking him why he’s wearing spectacles (on a day like this), and Takki took off his specs, then said “sumimasen” lol~
• Takki was seen having discussions with Johnny-san and some staff. Maybe he also helped in organising the event?
• Anyway, the commentator was from Fuji TV, so fans are guessing if this event will be shown on Fuji TV (smap x smap). I hope so, coz I think Takki appeared a lot in it… If there’s a DVD for this, I’d definitely buy it!

Next, images I captured from my recording this morning, which was a total flop. The video froze every few seconds… so I could only “watch” it on my mac frame by frame lol…

Some videos are available on the video-streaming-site-that-must-not-be-named. If you search for it using the kanji words of this event, you’d be able to find clips from zoom in and mezamashi. There are also clips from sukkiri and omokkiri don (can see Takki’s smile in this one~~!) If you can access tudou, there are clips from sukkiri and hiruobi too.
