Today was the final day of our Project 329 Nihon Ganbare fundraiser!!
Our original goal was to raise at least 32,900 yen by March 29, 2011. But after 9 days, 23 individual donations, and 45 likes & messages on Facebook, we actually raised a total of 82,000 yen!!!
But we decided to pitch in a little more to round the number off. So as a result….
Our grand total comes to 100,000 yen!!!
This project truly meant a lot to us, so it’s difficult to express exactly how thankful we are for the amount of support we received. We’ve said this before, but we were really touched that everyone cared enough about us, our project and this cause to entrust us with such generous donations.
This grand total is not an easy amount to raise in such a short period of time (and especially within such a small community), so we’re really proud of our fandom and how we were able to come together as a team to support each other, in supporting Takki and Japan. 心ã‹ã‚‰ã€æœ¬å½“ã«ã‚ã‚ŠãŒã¨ã†ã”ã–ã„ã¾ã™ã€œ
And as planned, we sent the total to NTV’s 24 HOUR TV Emergency Fund. Because they only allow 10,000 yen donations at a time, we had to transfer 10 times. They did not allow us to enter a specific name, but we left a message stating that these donations were collected from overseas fans of Takizawa Hideaki in a private fundraiser. Here is a screencap of all our confirmation pages.
We hope that Takki had a wonderful 29th birthday and we hope that the people affected by the disaster will find this money helpful. Thank you all again for supporting us and please continue praying for Japan! æ—¥æœ¬é ‘å¼µã‚Œï¼
