*YAY* finally got my Takki solocon pamphlet last nite :) SHIAWASE!!!! I din expect it to be of this size but it’s so kireii~~ ♥ I hope the christmas unitcon pamphlet can be something like this, so white, so pure, so stylish, so ‘white christmas’ feel… WHY CAN’T THE DVD BE LIKE THIS??? Though I don’t like Takki’s hair in the pamphlet (I prefer his hair in the con itself – my fav Takki!hair!), I still love it for its layout, style, and quality of the images. It’s such a waste that the conDVD cover and packaging were done in such a ‘tacky’ way (no pun intended)……
Erm, since I’m on this, HMV, please correct your listing! I’ve had enuf of TACKY onegai!
It has 100 over pages in it, with postcards which can be detachable at the end of the book. And there’re loads of words in it, Takki talks about a lot of things, and I REALLY wanna know what he said! So… I can either 1) buck up my japanese, or 2) really bug Ling or Ribi or any other kind souls to translate for me? hahahahahahhaa *evil laughter*

Haha, Michelle, I totally agree with you – everytime I go to HMV to check out the TxT catalogue, I CRINGE when I have to type “tacky & tsubasa” coz “tacky” is a proper ENGLISH word that does not have good connotations! *sigh*
I’ll cry when I find some site one day spelling “Tsubasa” as “Tubasa”. *lol*
I really don’t mind translating but my Japanese is just the pits so you may end up reading something REALLY different from what Takki meant. :p
I think Ling will be a better choice BUT I still will volunteer coz I wanna read what Takki wrote too! *raises hand to volunteer*

and bonnie got it right for all your questions, shuduck. i really thot the cover of the dvd and the packaging itself doesn’t match up to how good the con was (be it the concert itself or the con pamphlet!). of ALL the gorgeous pics, why choose that andalucia pic with a junior on it? and the design is juz.. :( most of us feel that the “HT” logo in gold or black against a white background (like the pamphlet cover) will be PERFECT!
ahhhh… bonnie, i think when takki went on 2base and they talked about the kiseki dvd, tsuba mentioned that takki did the dvd for his brother’s wedding too..?
ribi, i think “tubasa” is still alright? i think i read on ling’s blog before (or someone’s blog) that some ppl actually write shortform of “tsu” as “tu”…

Yeah, some baseball star apparently gave a bat to Tsubasa and wrote it as “tu” – could tell that Tsubasa was really amused when he was recounting it on his radio show.. ^^
Actually, I just I am fine with any permutation of his name unless it means something less than flattering of which I will take objection to. My favourite of course, is always Chin Chin Ii. I love his name in Chinese! *lol*
lol~~ juz reminds me of the bucket vs cup thing HAHAHAHA.. fortunately his chinese name saved him a lil~ now we juz end up staring at Julie (for u) and Romeo (for me! hahahahaha)). i need to ask u and ling loads of questions on jap!!! haha… last nite i learnt a lot already, from that 1 miserable page of translation (din know it’s such a tedious process!) but went home and almost forget everything LOL!

ribi~~ altho u are ‘officially’ only at basic level, you are way more qualified for that! all of us feel that way hehehe… i think i’m quite motivated by everyone recently, and the takkicon pamphlet is probably the one starting this whole new desire to learn jap going again~~ coz i really really wanna know what takki said! hahaa… so i was hardworking and copied pages 4 & 5 juz now…. i think there’s about 1 more page left for the interview only (but there’s still loads more words to go — that pamphlet is quite wordy :)… o, i will try to get it copied, or i’ll juz bring it along with me when we meet lol~~ coz i think i really won’t bear to bring out the real thing :)
Ehh…I can have my friend Maiko translate the entire book if ya want. She’ll b finished w/college (hopefully) by the end of this year. This is her last year and she plans (wants) to live here several more years, depending if she can find a full-time job. Anyone got jobs for her in the USA?? She needs to renew her Visa too so she can stay here longer. She said that’s why she needs to find a job…and fast! Otherwise, off she goes back to live in Japan.
=( I’ll dearly miss her if that ever happens. She said foreign aliens who live in the US for schooling have a limited amt. of time here after they graduate from college. If the Visa expires and they haven’t found a job yet, then they get deported back for good. Aaahhh…sooo ‘taihen’ for her, ne?? In a way, I feel for her tho. Let’s all pray she can stay here w/me! Anyway, about your Takkuricon pamphlet, I can ask her to translate for u the pages. You’d have to scan every single page tho for me so she can see. O_O Ehh…I LIKE SEE TOO!!!! miche..copied?u wrote word-by-word? my mac has a dashboard widget that cn do translation..from all types of languages..so if i ever get the takkicon pamph within this yr(lol)i’ll most likely be using this mac translator 2 help me lol.=p quite interesting eh!

shuduck, kyon hair = kyon hair lor! haha.. i think it’s yumemo era since it’s 2003 (think of yumemo PV hair)~ but i also like hosama hair in the 2u4u DVD off-shots! and solocon hair also! and hikaru/sugao2 hair too! hahahaha… i can’t decide which of these i like more wor! but these are my favourites xD
you, chibi takki’s centre-parting is probably his worst hairstyle hehe.. i generally don’t like centre-parting and too straight hair, and hair that looks flat/rebonded! that’s why i dun like the serenade & izumo con hair haha

i dun really like rebonded ‘slim-looking thin hair’ too..but because i can’t stand that hairstyle, i don’t understand why it can look good on takki so it now appeal me hugely. =p but that centre-parting is a big XXL NO! (= but tsu’s teen hair looks ok certainly, in comparison w takki.. hehe.

a, shuduck, i like venus black hair too, a bit spiky at the top but cute! i dun even mind that undercut thing haha.. i think kamen hair is a bit similar to yumemo hair, but more spiky at the top and longer fringe i think, but also pretty haha..
