So lovesick already u__u;

Just came back from our last Enbujo’09 show… I was sitting beside the hanamichi, arguably my best Enbujo seat ever! So I had a REALLY CLOSE LOOK at Tono from underneath his shanao cloth! OMG!!! HIS BEAUTIFUL AND HANDSOME FACE!!!!! He’s really really the best looking person I’ve ever seen in my whole life!! And he was less than a metre away…. I almost couldn’t breathe after that. You can ask Kat! KAT-CHAN, ARIGATO!!! *HUGS & KISSES*

This show was so memorable~ I’ll talk about it more in detail in my report, but we laughed the most (shadow adlib & marshmallow was so funny and different from the other 5 shows we watched), and we sobbed the most too. Everyone around us were sobbing during the Tono and Tottsu scene. You really need to look at Tono’s expression during that scene~ *sniff sniff*

There were some misses today which again proved how cool Tono is. After the 1st April show, and this one, I really really admire his coolness in handling those unexpected situations.

And… and… we saw Tono crying… close up! *DIES*

So lovesick already u__u;

  1. How fantastic you had this good seat, and for your last show!

    I am curious about the misses, and how they were handled. I hope you will talk about them when you do your (eagerly awaited) report.

    So, one needs binocs and a box of tissues…

  2. What we need is to all meet up & go in a huge group and sit up close and experience this festival for the eyes and ears :) Mich & Kat I am sincerely thrilled for you but you know you’d have more fun if I were with you bwhahaha j/k *hugs to both*

  3. Wow, this is a lot of information you have here. But I don’t get most of it. Who is Tono? And what is Takizawa Rengou? I just assume it is messages from Takki (???) I thought I read a post about Takki wanting a vacuum cleaner for his birthday but I can’t find it now. (or did I read it somewhere else??) By the way, I can’t view the pictures or vid links at Takizawa Rengou.

    Thanks for posting interesting reports and I envy you could go all the way to Japan and see his performances! This is a great site. :)

  4. nic2mit, a couple of quick answers (although this is Mich’s and Bon-chan’s blog, gomen)

    Tono is what Benkei and the other vassals call Yoshitsune. It means “Lord”. Since Takki plays Yoshitsune both in the TV drama and Enbujou, he is often called Tono.

    Takizawa Rengou is made of translations of Takki’s cell phone messages. There are no images.

    There are quotes about the vacuum on the takitsuba forum.

  5. Thanks simone! I was referring to “Today’s Picture” at Takizawa Rengou. Some posts have it at the bottom of the message and from reading ppl’s comments, it seemed they were able to view the links. But no biggie.

    I have so much to learn here. It’s very iteresting to read Mich’s reports but half of the stuff I have no idea what she is referring to. I assume many ppl who visit this site know some japanese, too. That’s awesome. I’d love to learn.

  6. Thanks Mich,

    Lucky you. Must have a sweetest dream ever. Be honest, I am kind of envy(exaggerate a little) you for having such a good seat to see Tono face to face(Did he?) Please be more detailed at how handsome and cool he is? I want to take a trip to Tokyo too.

  7. simone~ i’ll talk about those misses in my report. yup, binocs definitely. mainly for act 2 to see their expressions close up! i didn’t bring any tissues or handkerchief~ i just used my fingers lol…

    glenda~ yea, it’ll be fun! but it’ll be once in a blue moon we can find tix for every one of the group.

    nic2mit~ yup, also in his weekly radio show “Takizawa Denpajou”, Takki is called “Tono”, so i guess ever since the radio show started 2 yrs back, we’ve been calling him “Tono”. And no, I didn’t attach any images for Takiren. Sorry but I don’t have permission to.

    pomera~ ah, no, he was looking straight ahead, as he always does when running/walking along the hanamichi. but we were just peeking at him from the side, under the ushiwaka/shanao cloth…
