Takki Tidbits

1) “Free talk” with Takki & YamaP in this week’s Taki CHANnel! Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already! ^^

2) Fans have spotted a huge Takizawa Kabuki poster at Jingumae Station (Tokyo Metro station). There are also a lot of 24h Cosme posters around Shibuya station. You’ll see them near the Hachiko exit and alongside the stairs to/from the Yamanote line.

3) On March 1, the editor of SODA magazine tweeted that he recently got to do an interview with Takki. He said that even though it was snowy outside, Takki was wearing a crisp white and gray outfit, so it felt like spring inside the studio.

4) The editing team at FRaU also wrote a little bit about Takki in a blog post that was dated February 25th. The author of the post, Pork-san (such a cute name lol~), wrote about their behind-the-scenes experience during their photoshoot at Mauna Kea, Hawaii (published on page 45 in the March issue of FRaU).

Mauna Kea is a volcano on the Big Island and it is taller than Mt. Fuji, standing at about 4205 meters above sea level. When the team reached the summit, it was 5 degrees celsius and the air was quite thin, so everyone preferred to stay inside the van… Everyone except Takki ne ^^ He was the first one to leave the van and he walked around in a quick and steady pace (as though the uncomfortable conditions had no affect on him)! Pork-san thought he was quite sugoi but Takki just humbly said that it was quite tough for him (to breathe and move around) too. Hearing that, Pork-san said she suddenly felt very weak compared to Takki. At the end of the post, there are two photos of the view she saw when she followed Takki out of the van.

There are other posts about their trip to Hawaii, but I believe this is the only one that actually mentions Takki’s name.
