Takki Tidbits

Today was the Akutou Premiere Preview event!

Here are some details that we’ve collected from Twitter and Weibo:

• The venue was somewhere in Odaiba? It was quite small, so even the people who were seated all the way in the back could see the stage and screen clearly.
• Some fans said they cried at the end of the drama, while others said they didn’t cry because they were still trying to process all the “heavy emotions” from the drama. One fan said she got jealous of Kitano Kii (the girl who’s playing Haruka) at least 5 times during the drama. But she said there was no “major scene” that would make fans hate Kitano-san’s guts? lol
• After the premiere, there was an intermission before the cast came out for the press conference. Kasai Shinsuke-san from Tokudane (Fuji TV) was the MC.
• Takki was wearing a dark grey suit, a light gray vest and tie, a white dress shirt, and black shoes. His hair is still short and black. Fans said he looked really kakkoii and that he smiled a lot.
• Right before Watari-san appeared on stage, Takki stood up from his seat and waited for Watari-san to come out. Once he came out, Takki bowed to him. Kitano-san, however, was totally clueless and remained seated lol
• During the interview, Kitano-san said “He never smiled at me when we were filming” and Takki replied “That’s because it’s not a smiley kind of drama!”
• Watari-san, on the other hand, had nothing but good things to say about Takki. Watari-san even joked that he only attended the event because Takki was there. Then when they were taking pictures at the end of the press con, he jokingly gave Takki a big nudge with his shoulder, which made Takki stumble to the side XD
• The event was supposed to end after the pictures were taken. But Takki personally requested to come out again and speak to the audience. When he came out, the audience yelled “Takki!” and he said “Takki desu~” with an adorable smile. He said he’ll be in a middle of a tour, so he won’t be able to watch Akutou when it airs. He talked for a while before he had to leave. Before he left the stage, he bowed to the audience (bowing to the left, the right, and then to the front like he usually does at the end of a stage play performance).
