1) Takki is the special guest in Nikki-san’s essay in “Gekkan Musical” January 2010 issue. Btw, Nikki-san is also the special guest in Takki’s Tokyo Walker essay “Korette Shinsen desu ne” Vol. 82 & 83.
2) Just received a mailer from CDJapan that Mori Mitsuko’s Special Dinner Show will be released on DVD. This was released in VHS format in 1996, but new footage has been added and it made into a DVD. According to Shinseido, the special footage is “Takizawa Hideaki, Imai Tsubasa, Special Talk Show (about 42 minutes)”. The release date is 10th February 2010. (Amazon is selling it at 26% off.) Now, when is the Takizawa Kakumei’09 DVD gonna be released?! It’s 2 more days till the end of the year i.e. expiration date of my coupon lol~

I think they are waiting for our coupons to expire…
So they repackage a 10 year old thing, add 42 minutes of T & T, and sell it for Y5,900!?! That’s $65 + shipping for 42 minutes of T & T: it’s the Japanese recording industry version of highway robbery. [I don’t know where CDJapan gets its $60.61. The current exchange rate is around Y91.5 to the US dollar].
Now if we were talking of the Takizawa Kakumei ’09 Dvd…That’s what I want and have been waiting for!

simone~ yeah, the exchange rate is only a ‘guide’, it usually converts to a much higher rate, after adding all the credit card currency charges and overseas charges etc etc etc…. i’m stillllll waiting for that kakumei dvd!!!
