1) We didn’t get to record “SMAP Ganbarimasu!” so we’re waiting for the HD to be uploaded before sharing~ Thanks for understanding~
2) We’ll get more info from our concert-goers when they come back, but here are some details about yesterday’s afternoon and finale show~
AFTERNOON SHOW
They sang Happy Birthday to Takki again. It was supposed to be “Happy Birthday Dear Hide-kun,” but it got stretched into “Happy Birthday Dear Yayoi-san’s son” lol
Then, Tsubasa brought out a Starbucks paper bag and passed it to Takki. Inside were his so-called “presents” — a T-shirt from his solo tour and fake coupons that are redeemable for things like “a wake-up call, toothpaste, outfit coordination, breakfast, goodbye kiss, welcome-home greeting” and etc. Takki laughed the entire time and said “Thanks. I’ll try to use them when we’re on tour lol”
During the MC, they also talked about hige (facial hair). Everyone boo’d when they talked about Takki with a hige. And Takki replied, “But I got a letter saying that I looked great (with an unshaven face) in the Making-of DVD!”
FINALE SHOW
They sang Happy Birthday in the finale show too. They were supposed to say “Happy Birthday Dear Yaeko-san’s Young Brother~~” but Tsubasa accidentally said “Younger Sister” instead. In response, Takki said “Since when did I become a younger sister?!” XD
This time, Tsubasa gave Takki his real present. While Takki was on a trip to Vegas, Tsubasa went to Takki’s house and asked his mother, grandmother, and older sister to write him a birthday letter. Then, he asked them to read it out loud in front of a camera – this birthday video was his present to Takki.
A part of Yayoi-mama’s message :
“Hide, when you were little, you loved being carried on my back. Whenever you came home from nursery school, you would come to me, as you’re holding your own baby sling, and say ‘Pick me up!’ And you would fall asleep whenever I sang Nanatsu no Ko to you.”
A part of his sister’s message :
“To my super idol brother, when will you lift the ban on your ero ero dance? I think your fans will be mored pleased if you are a bit more wild. Sincerely, your beautiful sister.”
Fans noted that his mother’s handwriting was easy to read and the characters were round. His grandmother’s handwriting was really beautiful, even though it was in cursive.
During the video, there was also a photo of his mother, sister, Tsubasa, and Hidepita. In the background there was a red leather sofa?
In the end, Tsubasa brought out another paper bag. Inside was the $20 American Eagle checkered pants that he had “borrowed” but never had the time to return. Apparently, he “borrowed” it when he went to Takki’s house and Takki was looking all over for it when he got back from his trip lol
SOME OTHER THINGS
Takki’s mother attended the finale show and was sitting in the box seats. Seems like Takki had no idea that she was coming and was shocked when he spotted her in the box seats during the middle of a performance.
V6’s Miyake Ken was also there.
They sang Yume Monogatari during the finale double encore.
At the end of the finale show, fans were waiting in their seats for the “miokuri.” The staff first released the fans in the box seats, center seats, and stand seats. Next was the A, F, and B arena seats. This took about 45 minutes, so the staff played PVs on the screens to entertain the rest of those who were waiting. But for some reason, everyone in the E, D, and C seats were still really hyped up from the encore, and started singing and dancing to the PVs LOL. When it was time for E to be released, D and C even waved “bye bye” to them. A fan said it was also funny when the staff (who was in charge of announcing the release and escorting the fans) came over and said “I’m sorry for interrupting the fun but… (your block is next to leave).”
Sounds like a fun and joyful concert even without jr and low electricity
Wish they release DVD for this concert
Thanks for posting the news of TT concert.
Sounds like a fun concert. I am glad Takki’s family is so supportive.
I wanna see it….
Thank you for sharing. I really sad that i missed it. But I’m so happy that they still have a great concert and very supportive fans and family. That the best gift Takki might have realised by now.
