Waiting for a real report… But in the meanwhile, here are some notes I picked up from the bbs about tonight’s concert~
** SPOILER ALERT **
-
OPENING
- A picture of the face towel and the display that was inside Yokohama Arena.
- There were no Jrs at the con?? It was only the two of them…
- Usually, the main stage is at the front of the arena. This time, it was in the middle, creating a “360 degree stage” (meaning that fans could see them from every angle). There were runways branching out from the main stage too… so the whole thing looked like the kanji “æ—¥â€
- They were wearing old costumes from past events…
- Sore no Screen, One Day One Dream, Ai wa Takaramono, Takitsuba Call, MC, Michi, Love Spiral, Jikan Ryokou, Shalala, backborn, I Luv Shangri-la, Yamanotesen Sotomawari, MC, Yume Monogatari, Ho! Summer, X~Dame~, Venus, REAL DX, and Ai wa Takaramono (again). The encore was Crazy Rainbow and Mirai Koukai.
- During their intro speech before Michi, Takki said “Thank you for today” and the fans yelled “EHH!? ALREADY?!?” in surprise because it sounded like that was the end of the concert XD
- During I Luv Shangri-La, they went up to the audience seats. Later, they explained that it was because they wanted to get closer to their fans.
- Apparently, when they were loading supplies onto the Johnny’s relief trucks, they knew many of their fans lived in the disaster areas, so they were prepared to go there (with the truck!) to show their support. And they really intended on doing so, however, everyone in the Jimusho were against it.
- To save energy/electricity, they tried not to use over 250 kilowatts (usually, at a normal concert, they use over 1,300 kilowatts).
- They talked about Spanish… and Takki said “Gracias” hahaha
- Takki said that in this year’s Kabuki, he plans to perform Noh.
- Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Takki!!
- Nothing has been decided yet, but they’d like to kick off their National Fall Tour on September 11.
- At the end of the concert, there was a message from Takki on the screens that said “Let’s believe in our strength and the strength of the Japanese people. We can’t wait to see everyone with their smiling faces. We’ll be waiting (for you)! – From Takizawa Hideaki.”
- The concert officially ended at 20:00, after a “miokuri” event (miokuri means to see somebody off). Some fans on Twitter said Takki looked at them in the eye and said “Arigatou” as he waved goodbye to them.

ohh..woowww..only 2 of them ne? So, its special-just T&T.. :)
I like Takki’s message..it’s touching. And I do believe that everyone will smile again..soon.
Thanks Bon, for the update. :)
yea~ I was touched as I was translating the message. Although a lot of people didn’t agree with this at the beginning, I think they made the right decision to continue the concert… it gives everyone a break from all that’s been going on~ Takki, kyou hontoni otsukarechan!
Thanks Bon! And I agree with you about holding the concert. People need cheering as well. I like Takki’s message very much.
How unusual that there were no juniors. I wonder what were the reasons? To make it more a concert and less a celebration? Or something else, since the decision was probably taken earlier…
Thanks for the description of the concert.I’m not going to be able to watch them live unless they come to our country.
An after thought: is Johnny san saving money, not just electricity? I mean, no Juniors, old costumes… Not the usual flashy show…
Thank you for posting the news about their concert.
At this moment, I think it will cheer up the fans to see them
sing and have a little break from the disaster.
I have been a big fan of T&T since year 2002, hope to see Japan
recover soon from all this and Tackey& Tsubasa back
to the stage with smileɔєΩ
almost like my dream T&T concert.
good to know that it went well.
Thank you for reporting the special live~
As a fan, I can always get power from takki~
