Tsubasa went to see Enbujou yesterday and sang the Obon version of X~Dame with Takki. And Tsubasa will be on the cover of the Sept 2007 issue of Look@Star. Seems like this is his first solo cover appearance.
Then, there’s news about Jackie Chan’s upcoming movie “Shinjuku Jiken”. Apparently, this movie has been in planning for 10 years! Articles mention Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, and Ken Watanabe as confirmed cast. And there’s mention of a female Japanese actress who’s not yet selected. NO mention of Takki at all as any part of the cast.

There was news previously that Japan’s new generation idol Takizawa Hideaki will be involved in
, and form a group with Jackie Chan “JackieTackie” to take on Hollywood. With regards to this, Yee Tung-Shing (director) expressed yesterday during the press interview that, the final cast hasn’t been decided for this movie yet, hence they are unable to reveal any further details at this point of time.
Only a few reports out of the hundreds I found mentioned this. I’m not sure how reliable these newspapers are, but Takki’s part in this movie isn’t confirmed yet. It has been 2 years since this Jackie&Tackie thing was mentioned, and nothing is concrete yet… Sigh… I’ll be really sad if discussions fall through, and Takki will not be acting in this movie afterall… I’ve been looking forward to this for so long ne~~I feel that it’ll be good for him to be exposed to filming movies of such scale, it’ll be good exposure, plus we all know he really wants to be part of this! Acting is his forte afterall… not singing, not dancing… (these are aikata-kun’s *lol*)
On to happier things, my Enbujou DVD has been shipped!! *YAY* SingPost still has no information yet but the package has left Tokyo early this morning (according to the Japan post tracking ^^). Really hope that it’ll arrive tomorrow and somebody anybody will be at home to receive it!!
OMG it’s almost 12!! Probably I study one lesson before going to bed…
but before I do so…

Takki’s career will evolve to another stage if he really has the chance to get involve in this movie although I don’t like Jacky Chan much. Takki’s performance should be more “multinational” afterall. But he’s so busy though, does he have time to do so? 心é…ã—㦅
i agree. he’ll be even more famous around Asia (^_^; oh jesus) but i dunno. @ Zubari, Jackie talked about it like he was SURE Takki was gonna be in the movie…and that Takki will have to learn a little bit of cantonese and english? *fufufu*
he doesnt seem to have much on his Nov sched right now? so i think he’ll most likely be able to do it. if Jackie keeps his stinkin promise. well, unless he has a drama (oh gosh *huuugs Mich* i really wanna see Takki in more dramasssss~~) or if T&T releases something around Oct and Nov…

As for Takki, Omedetou…matta…in landing the #1 Oricon rankings for your Enbujou dvd sales!!!! *claps* I’m so happy for him, though we all know it only lasts for only a little while. =( Well, I won’t think of that right now. For now, I’ll just relish on his landing the #1 spot. ^_^
I agree w/Bonnie in her last part of her comment. I totally wanna see Takki in more doramas…or another T&T con in the works?? *onegai* (puppy dog eyes to T&T) ^_^

*hugs* u know, i’m thinking the same ne. if there is no movie, i want a DRAMA!!! i think takki fans are deprived of his dramas! he hasn’t had a REAL drama since yoshitsune, and that was in 2005!!! but those articles mention that jackie wants to act with his son but still no news on that (meaning, the “say” lies with the director?)
