About the Making (translation by bon):

When filming the lemon-squeezing scene, in order to capture the strength/intensity (shown in that scene), there was a loud explosion of sound from the wind that was blasted towards Takizawa-san. Within the 5 story building, even though (the wind machine?) it was set to level 3, the sound was still really loud. Worried, the director thought “I wonder if it will work out?” In the test round prior to the shoot, even Takizawa-san was surprised and laughingly said “Ohh~! This gave me a shock ne! Wow!”

“This is difficult, isn’t it,” he said as he consulted with the director as to how to carry out that image/scene.

But despite this, when it came time for the real shoot, Takizawa-san ignored the “Level 5″ sound and shot a wonderful scene in just one take – showing the professional side of him. When the director asked “Do you drink sake?” he said “I love Chu-hai.” When the director jokingly replied “I dont drink though…” he smiled and said “Isn’t that bad?!!!”

Not much of other stuff to write about, since I went to Japan mainly for Enbujo. But I’ve decided to have just this one post to put up some of the pictures I took during the trip. Of course, I think I’ll still post my report on Enbujo’09 (soon~), even if nobody wants to read it anymore lol.

1) “Orthros no Inu” has a new homepage. Some sections have been updated to include the female lead and her part in the story. Mizukawa Asami plays Nagisa, a female detective from the Metropolitan Police Department, who is a single mother with a sick daughter. Mizukawa Asami worked with Takki before during “Golden Muscle” in 2003-2004, and more recently with Nishikido Ryo in the drama “Last Friends”. It’ll be great to see how the three work this time!

2) Takki will be guest on Ishihara Satomi’s “Ishihara Satomi SAY TO ME!” radio program (Nippon Housou) on 14 June, Sunday. Of course, Ishihara Satomi co-acted with Takki in 2005′s NHK Taiga drama “Yoshitsune”, as his lover, Shizuka:)

3) Takki’s regular radio show, “Takizawa Denpajou” will have its first guest on 13 June. As for who this guest is, we’ll only find out on the 6 June broadcast.

4) According to Avex, Takki is in the current issue of “TV Life” (No. 12, released yesterday). And I found his name listed in the contents for the next issue (No. 13, released on 10 June). It’ll be on “Orthros no Inu” (with Nishikido Ryo).
