Nihongo class was quite interesting today. We were talking about hobbies – dramas, music, and blogs. Then, I was supposed to have facial at 3pm. So after class, I walked around Orchard Rd to waste time (class ended at 10.30am). Then that baka facial place called to “remind” me that my appointment for “tomorrow” is at 3.30pm. Shocked~ I booked the appt for today, not tomorrow. But the (rather rude) lady insisted that I made a mistake! So pissed… I am 100% sure that when I called them a few days ago, I said that I wanted “28th June, Saturday, at 3pm”!
So~ no choice, change of plan~ decided to go collect my mags, have lunch, then come back. So, I went down to Kino @ Liang Court. And wow~ I had ordered 12 MAGS!!! I totally forgot how many there were~~ :) And even after the 20% discount, the total cost was $112++ *faints* And I lugged all these to Funan Centre under the scorching sun!!!! Walking in the open at that time (it was just past 12 noon) was tiring enough. Sono ue, I had to carry 12 magazines, which slowed me down a lot lol~! Was almost BBQ-ed ne~
Fortunately, lunch saved me. Had Bacon Aglio Pasta ^^ Then, looked at LOTR & POTC DVDs *lol* before heading back. The sky was perfectly blue, no clouds at all. So there’s nothing to shield even a little bit of heat from the sun… I thought my hair would suddenly combust or something.
Ok, just wanted to rant a bit haha. I’ll shut up now and go back to my Takiren duties!!! Oh yes, I just received this in my inbox: T&T 2008-2009 Calender is 50% Off @ CDJapan!

Your Kino let’s you apply the discount to magazines!!! Uso!
Our Kino *excludes* mags from the discount. So once I found out that my frequent buying trips to Kino were consisting of less and less manga and novels and more and more Japanese magazines — I let it lapse!
I figure that your book carting muscles would have no problem with 12 piddling magazines after carting around 14+ copies of the Enbujou ’08 books.

yea, the kinos here allow discounts to be applied to mags and books :) but we won’t know when they’ll have the discount until probably a week or two before. i’m lucky this time they have a month-long discount to coincide with the GSS (great singapore sale) xD ah, yes it’s true, my arm powers have increased greatly since kuricon’06! (but i’d still rather be carrying it in winter than under the hot sun keke~)

no wor, not getting the calender coz i have 2 liao… ya lor, these few days so hot rite.. aiya, everyone’s falling sick, including u & i… juz ate 2 panadol cold reliefs like what u suggested some time ago… hopefully my nose will clear soon lol!
