11/5~

The weekend flew by so fast!!!

Saturday~

Met Stephie for the first time~ :D We were at Bugis Jn. and I saw this nice kirakira bag at 77th St. which I like. Then at Bugis St., there were so many nice shoes and boots!! The best thing was, both of us were walking along a row of shops and SUDDENLY we just heard something really familiar. We paused for a while — listened carefully — and realised it was “SAMURAI~ SAMURAI~” Immediately, we followed the boys’ voices and found that the CD is playing from the shop which was just straight ahead of us. Lol~ I saw the spinning disc in the cd player and recognised that it was the BLUE TAKITSUBA BEST album. Then after “Samurai” ended, the guy in the store amazingly did not change the disc! He repeated it!! Hahaaa~~ We saw among a stack of CDs the 2U4U album as well~ but it was the Taiwan version… But, ah, this guy = *thumbs up*

Obviously, we thought it was a sign! It gave me more reason to look through the clothes in that shop, and seriously, I love one of the shorts there but unfortunately I was too big for it ne (din have my size lol~). We stayed through “Overture”, “True Heart”, “Kiseki” and part of “Get Down” before we left :D That was the store which we stayed in the longest! ^^;

Then after shopping for a while, I think coz I’m old liao, and apparently forgot my daily doze of coffee that morning, headache struck, and we sat in the cafe there to talk… so fun! But I feel like an old obasan amongst all the youngsters (Stephie included lol~)…

Sunday~

After class, my bf & I went to the 77th St. at Far East and realised that they do not carry that series of bags which I saw on Sat, so we went to Bugis. After squeezing with the crowd for the 2nd time in 2 days, I went back to one of the shoe shops at Bugis St. My intention was to buy a white heeled shoes which I spotted yesterday. But I tried on a pair of boots, and that’s it, the moment I tried, I had to get it! It was so comfortable~!! I’ve always thought I can’t fit into boots lol~ and my colleague and I have been drooling over boots for about 2 weeks now~ yes, we’re the deprived Singaporeans who’ve never really needed to wear boots haha… So, I ended up spending 70 bucks just on that! Takakatta da kedo ureshi desu~ :D Then we went to the 77th St. at Bugis Jn, and finally, my bf got that kirakira bag which I love as a bday present! Honto ni ureshii desu! ^^;

Now that I’m back home, I realised that I haven’t blogged in about 4 days? lol~ Sumimasen… I’ve been shopping and eating hahaha… and we finally finished Yoshitsune (again for me)~ :D It’s just too sad, I cried again~ of course not as much as the first time I watched… but ahh.. then I also watched the part where Takki cried after the last day of filming… ahhhhhhh~~~

Ah, I read the Denpajou translation at Bonnie’s just now, and Takki is really the cutest!!!!! ^o^ the part where he said, when his mom calls “Hide!”, himself, Hidezo & Hidepita would turn their heads at the same time~ bwahahahahahaha~~~

Also, I want to thank Ribi for this:

She got this for me from Japan as a bday present too~ I will make full use of it ne!
Doubt I’d be able to do it half as well as Takki, but I WILL TRY! ^_^ Arigato gozaimasu!!!

  1. Happy Birthday? Happy Belated Birthday? Happy almost time for your Birthday? ummm, I didn’t know you were having a birthday or had one already, gomen. Boots!! Ah, I’ve never found boots that fit my feet where it doesn’t hurt..don’t blame you at all for spending $ when you found some! (I’m jealous of Sarah Ann’s boots) What a sweet boyfriend you have ^_^

    We still haven’t finished Yoshitsune…we have only gotten to #37 but that one was very emotionally draining which may be why we’ve not gone farther yet. I’m assuming it will be even more draining. But we will see it thru to the end hopefully before the year ends.

    That is so cool that the guy was playing their CD!!! Glad you got a break from work & enjoyed yourself ^_^

  4. wow michelle! happy birthday! :D i’m glad you had such a great weekend! i hate shopping for shoes; i’d like to own boots too, but my feet are kinda *cough* big. T_T so lucky you! hehe.

    and what do you call that toy? it seems difficult! good luck with that! :D

  5. cynthi~ thanks! actually my feet are big too lol~ i wear size 8 (or 39), that’s why i was quite amazed when the boots actually could FIT! lol~ and that toy is called ‘kendama’ (剣玉) as bonnie mentioned~ takki is very good at it. on DB, he played wif it and used his little finger to ‘catch’ the ball instead of the stick @-@… hmm…

  6. It’s a little bit late but Happy birthday Michelle!
    I like boots a lot too even though I dont often wear them.
    I keep thinking the name “Hideaki” suits Takki alot, but we dont hear many people call him “Hideaki”, even Tsuba except when Tsubaka was so drunk in that birthday party ^_^
