I can only hope that sales will pick up for the rest of the week, and hopefully competition won’t be strong this time. SAMURAI only sold 57,771 by the end of first week. I thought Koi Uta would do better… Now I just hope they can break 50,000 by the end of week 1. *TRYING* to stay positive…

huhu… me too! try to stay positive… koiuta is such a nice single… especially d LE with the drama bonus… really pray for their success… they’ve been working so hard for this… i’m not asking for millions of copies, just let this one do better than samurai and xdame, if not as good as venus… pleasssssssssssssssssse… i’m begging u, God…

I really hope that the sales pick up for this one. It’s got such good bonuses and the songs are so good. I just have one question… do sales only count if you order from CDJapan, Amazon, and HMV or do they count ones sold from YesAsia too?
yea, i’m also hoping it at least does better than samurai! samurai is already their worst selling single. If koi uta were to do worse than that… *don’t wanna think*
erm, could it be becoz they ran out of stock? Heard that HMV and Amazon are delaying shipments coz they “ran out of stock”. ne, it’s really stupid if the sales are low becoz Avex aren’t supplying them enough copies!
blueraspberry~ No, they do not count sales from YesAsia. from my knowledge, the online shops that count towards oricon sales are only CDjapan, AmazonJP, HMVJP and TowerrecordsJP :)
Wah…. that sucks cause I’ve been buying my stuff from Yesasia for years now… It’s cheaper for me to buy from them over AmazonJP, HMVJP, and CDJapan cause I don’t get charged customs and the shipping is free. The CD’s themselves are affordable but its the shipping and customs that kill… stupid customs. Anyway thanks for the info

blueraspberry~ yea, shipping is really ex, especially if we choose the fastest way possible aka EMS. i think yesasia gives free standard shipment or something but generally, their prices are higher than the other stores. one way we found to reduce cost is to share shipments with friends who live nearby, or if u can wait for the items, cdjapan also has economic shipping :)

The main reason I order from YesAsia is because I don’t have to pay customs. I live in Canada and they have an office in Toronto so they send it from there. I wish they would include sales from that site too. I bought all 3 versions of this single at it only cost about $50 or so dollars. I think I will try buying with CDJapan next time and see how much it costs with the Custom Fee’s and Shipping.
