I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Johnnys International Email Office! It tells us that the registration page for Johnnys International Information email delivery service has been set up, and urges us to sign up for the service.
Register Now if you want to join the service and receive emails from Johnnys International!
The mail also mentoned Taki Channel and Akanishi Jin’s Tour, but the BEST NEWS is this:
Johnnys Official Ticketing site “Jticket International†OPEN SOON!
Considering the inconvenience for overseas fans to get Johnnys event ticket, we introduce our brand-new system “Jticket Internationalâ€. This is an official online ticketing site operated by Concert Jimukyoku. We provides Johnnys event ticket for overseas living fans ONLY! This website will be OPEN SOON! Please be patient to wait for further information.
I will be patient, thank you ^^ KYAA!!! Will we finally be able to ballot for tickets? I wonder what the process will be. Of course, we’d still have to pay for our air tickets and hotel accommodation, but if we’re able to get tickets to Takki’s butais at standard ticket prices, it will definitely be a great help! At least one thing less to worry about :)
Iya, and I was just discussing with S-san the other day. We had written to Taki Channel about this before but weren’t sure if it would materialize, as they might find it costly to adopt a credit card system on top of a balloting & refund system etc etc…
But now that we’ve received this email, I’m quite relieved :)
Share your thoughts about this.
I certainly hope they use credit cards, or it will really be hard, at least for me, to get tickets. Or at least Paypal. i wonder if there will be balloting, or just asking for a ticket [or more], be charged, and receiving what, in their wisdom, they choose to let you have.
On the other hand, would I prefer 2 affordable bad seats, or just 1 expensive very good seat?
yes!! i received this email too.. i post it in forum as well..hehe~
agree with simone..we hope they received credit card or paypal. and there’s so many question about how the process will be.. But at least this is the new start from Johnnys for the overseas fans. :)
hello my name is jennifer nice to meet you
weird. maybe only the first batch of fans who sent in emails @ Takichannel receive these notices… cause i certainly havent been receiving them? anyone else having the same problem?
other than that, i think this is really a huge step.
(at least for NOW) i dun care if its ballot, expensive, or paypal…
as long as there’s a future that does not require
yahoo auctions, jzool, or begging of friends, I AM HAPPY lol
hmm, weird… but in the email, it says if we want to “CONTINUE” receiving emails from them, we have to sign up at the registration page. so i guess, once u sign up for the service at that page, you should be receiving all future emails… no difference from the first batch anymore…
yeah, it’s a huge step! i always feel bad begging friends to help in ballots. and buying through auctions and tix.co, we’d have to beg friends or go through 3rd party agents. well, these agents are gonna lose a bit of their business… which perhaps is one of the reasons why they went ahead with this? maybe they realised that a large portion of ‘black market reselling’ were happening because overseas fans couldn’t get tix easily.
It sure is a great step ahead for johnny’s to do that! I’m happy!
Bon~ I actually email them quite late actually, but I receive this email too. So it sh’t be the case of early or late, I think. Maybe you sh try to email them again? Just my thought. =p
Mich~I was wondering abt the payment mode as well as the way of sending the tickets to us. If it’s like the towel, it will be fabulous. But normally tickets arrive 1/2 weeks before show, that is a big problem too ne~ How we know when we ballot which hotel we will be staying? or which address to use. Taihen ne~ Alot of qns in mind, but I’m really happy like the rest, it’s tough always having to trouble friends to get tickets. =p
Took them long enough! lol
i think fans who’ve just gotten into Johnny’s are really lucky ne
they dun have to go thru the same sh*t that we did!!!
all the money that we’ve spent in the “black market” (cries)
all the time we’ve spent refreshing and searching the tix.co page
and like you said, all the favors and debts to repay… v_v
other than that, there’s still the JE habit of last minute announcements…
but I guess as long as we get to buy ballots after the announcements,
it wont be that much of a problem, right?
(and i guess its a part of JE culture that’s hard to change ne ^_^;;)
@ Kat
i too think itd be great if they could offer us international EMS shipping but I dont think overseas fans should be requesting for such SP treatment (at least not right off the bat) because that might make them think that we’re too high maintenance? Now that they’re finally giving us some attention, we want them to think that all this trouble will be worth it in the end (in terms of profit)… But thats just my opinion. Maybe instead of requesting for EMS, we could ask them to ship it out EARLIER than just a week before events?
Kat, I usually know well in advance which hotel I will stay in. My biggest problem would be if they insist on sending the tickets to my home address. The US post office is excruciatingly slow, so I fear the tickets would arrive after I leave, even if they use EMS, as I am usually in Tokyo a few days before the show.
I was wondering if the Japanese post office has anything like the French “Poste restante” service, where a specific Post Office will keep your mail till you claim it. Very useful when traveling.
sigh… all the money we’ve spent so far on tickets…
one particular ticket cost even more than the air ticket to japan LOL
ya, lotsa question marks still on the system… who knows, we would have to collect the tickets at the venue counter itself using a printout of receipt or something like that… that way we have to prove our identity and it makes reselling even harder? hmm… i guess we shouldn’t be thinking too much about it now… haha, let’s first wait and see WHEN the shop will be open!
I have done the registration and then got a simple confirmation email. I am most impressed by their starting to concern about overseas fans. If there is a group of people in Johnny’s who had took the initiation, Takki must be one of them ~ I believe ^^
Agree with Mich’s idea, may be we should write to response. Also I will suggest them to adopt different price range for better seats. I am willing to pay more for that after saving money from black market!
