I WATCHED YUKINOJO HENGE!!!

I really really love the VERY FIRST scene of the drama~~ and his puppy eyes~~ Poor Yukinojo looks so tortured most of the time *sobs sobs* The “Sagi Musume” dance at the end is my favourite onnagata scene~ She doesn’t look ghostly now, like the very first time I saw her lol, instead, I thought she looked really really pretty~~ ^^
Takki is really brave to take on these roles!!! We can see the amount of hard work he has put in to learn all the onnagata moves. And kabuki is already a skill on its own!

I watched this on TV too. And am still baffled.
Had some not-that-happy thoughts about this first when hearing about the remake. Then worried when Tackey was announced, because these tend to be more flops than hits. And the original for this is a big classic anyway.
But it’s really great. Extremely well done, detailed, the actors succeed. Tackey really takes the double-roling and I have to say I enjoyed this SP very much in general.
Now all I want is to find out this got very good ratings and that he’ll star in a drama series this year.

both takkis are so cute~~ one is so girlish, the other is so manly. yea, i thought he took on both roles very well~ but somehow the trend of ratings for NHK jidaigeki is going down? ahh~ i dunno, will have to find out what ratings it got :D
