NHK Studio Park Kara Omedetou 2008 (2008.01.01)

First scene and you see Takki staring at the camera. Then he started smiling a bit before the camera zoomed out. Then he was asked what he did the night before, and Takki replied that he was at the Countdown Live (Johnnys Countdown). This Studio Park program was broadcast live at about 1+pm, so it was about 12 hrs after the countdown. Takki said he slept for about 5 hours.

He then showed photos that he took backstage. First one was with Tsubasa, and the next was with birthday boy Koichi-kun (Kinki Kids).

Then the last one was with his kouhais~ there was KATTUN, Kanjani 8 and NEWS.

Then they talked a bit about Yoshitsune. It has been 3 years since. The hosts also showed the actors/actresses (?) who have acted the role of Yukinojo before, from 1935’s classic to 1994’s. And below all these, they stuck Takki’s face as the fifth one (for 2008) ^^.

Then they played a short promo clip of Yukinojo Henge.

Then the male host placed a bag beside him, where he’ll pull out “points” of Yukinojo Henge.

1) Takki taking on 2 roles. Takki said it was “sugoku taihen deshita ne” (very tough). They showed some scenes of his 2 roles interacting i.e. Yukinojo and Yamitaro talking. It is difficult to act with no one as a point of reference. But Takki said sometimes a staff was used as a ‘double’. It’s interesting to see the Yin & Yang Takki talking to each other hehehe…

2) Onnagata Challenge. Takki has to play an actor who plays female roles, i.e. onnagata. They brought in a life-size cardboard of Yukichan (when Yukinojo plays a female on the kabuki stage). Thanks to bakasemitachi, I had a good look at his toes!! hahaha.. Did anyone notice how cute and tiny his toes are? LOL!

Then they showed a VTR of Yukinojo walking very femininely!! OMG he IS really so gentle LOL~ the way he walks, with his hands placed gracefully in front of his kimono, the way he sits, with a hand gently swiping back his kimono… so gentle, so graceful~

3) There was a special guest for this show, and they brought him in – Kabuki actor Ichikawa Sadanji (who acted Kichiji in Yoshitsune!)

In Yukinojo Henge, Ichikawa acts as Nakamura Kikunojo, the zachou of the kabuki play? Anyway, he does kabuki scenes with Takki in the drama. They played back some scenes from Yoshitsune (Shanao & Benkei bridge scene, then Shanao & Kichiji), and then they played the scenes from Yukinojo Henge, where they both sing and dance on stage together. Takki said he was nervous when acting the kabukii scene.

4) Kabuki scene. They showed a card of Takki playing 2 onnagata roles on the kabuki stage. One is the one with the huge hairpins, and the other is the ghostly white-faced onna who dances (this role is the one on my current header~ and the character is “Sagi Musume”)

Then they brought in a huge display kimono, I think it’s the one Yukinojo wears for the kabuki scene for “Takiyasha”? Anyway, after that, they showed the dance rehearsal clip!! Takki in kimono, practicing his dance~ very pretty takki with what looked like short arms (because of the way the kimono is held), and blonde hair with the little bun again! hehehe…

Then the actual filming on the kabuki stage. Takki practices with the dance teacher again, then the filming took place. Then Takki as onnagata on the stage, laughs, “ho~ho~~~~~ ho~ho~ho~ho~” *ROFLMAO* so funny~~ hehehehe~~ so ghostly laughter hahahahahaha….

The female host asked if it was Takizawa’s voice? He replied, “sou desu ne” :D He said that jidaigeki is a different world altogether and he’s happy to take on a new challenge. Then they interviewed Nakao Akira, who acts as Yukinojo’s enemy. He also acted with Takki in Yoshitsune (as Oguri Shun’s father). He had messages to both Takki and Ichikawa.

Then Takki had a message from Antonio Inoki!!!! How happy must Takki be?! hehe… And it was so cute when Takki counted his fingers along with Inoki *KAWAII* (ichi, ni, san) ^^

Then people sent in their one kanji word to represent the new year, and Takki likes “心” (kokoro). He said it’s a simple word yet it’s important. They also showed a bit of the Making Of that will be aired before the drama.
