The opening show of Takizawa Kabuki ended safely :)
And OMG~!!! I almost fell off my chair when I saw the pamphlet! It is very different from previous pamphlets. Is this Masakado? Kakkoii!!! The photo album is simple and nice (clever design you know, no matter how you look at it — whether it’s the black or white area — you can see the “H” and “T” ne~). And then the poster!! *falls off chair* It’s really something I didn’t expect! The shopping bag has the same design as the photo album, and has a flat strap (won’t hurt the shoulders). Seems like it’s also made of cloth!
[UPDATE 4/5: OMG!! The clear file~~ *faints* I like the cloth of the chopsticks, but the chopsticks themselves are kinda plain. The bookmark is nice… UPDATE 4/6: Found pics of the notebook and just two of the five Takki photosets. Kakoii~~]
Some random notes about the show:
- Act 1 was about 1hr 35mins long.
- Act 2 was about 1hr 10mins long.
- There was a hadaka (topless) feast, during the drumming scene!
- The XA~XC 15-28 area has become the stage.
- And there are 3 rows of 5 box seats on each side.
- No Byakkotai, Anchin & Kiyohime, and Taki no Shiraito this year.
- The opening flying was kept.
- And then it starts with Chuushingura.
- There’s a mask-changing scene.
- Act 1 is similar to previous Enbujo, but Act 2 is largely different.
- The mini film is shown at the start of Act 2.
- There is water used during Act 2.
- 4D-flying was Takki fighting above the audience!
- Takki kamikami-ed (?)
- There was a dance between Takki’s onnagata and Yara.
- There’s the white-paint make up scene this year too!
- Takki appeared once along the aisle of the first floor during Masakado.
- Takki was in a blue suit during the opening prologue.
- Seems like the title of the Masakado theme song is「My Dream〜永é 〜ã€
- The last song is “With Love”.
- There was something like a small tape or plaster above Tono’s right eye.
- There was a small accident at the end – the curtain couldn’t close lol – which made everyone laugh :)
Tomorrow is the 200th show for “Takizawa Enbujo”!! XDDD
I hope there’ll be WS cameras.

That dance should be interesting. Yara is a very accomplished and graceful dancer. I do hope there is a DVD. But even if there is one, Avex will probably have us wait a year or more…
