1) There is Takizawa Enbujo’09 stage report in Best Stage June 2009.

2) There was an article in Daily Sports yesterday reporting the end of Takizawa Enbujo and start of Takizawa Kabuki. Including the additional shows on 4/26, there were 198 Enbujo shows. Only 2 short of 200… [spoiler]

タッキー 来年は「滝沢歌舞伎」

タッキー＆翼の滝沢秀明（２７）が東京・新橋演舞場で０６年から行ってきた座長公演「滝沢演舞城」が今年で幕を閉じ、来年４月からは同・日生劇場で の新公演「滝沢歌舞伎（仮）」をスタートさせることが分かった。今年の公演の千秋楽を迎えた２６日、滝沢が自らステージ上で発表した。

今月１日のマスコミ公開では、来年以降も「滝沢演舞城」を続ける意向を示していた滝沢。だが、近くの歌舞伎座が来年、建て替えのために一時閉館する事情も手伝い、滝沢の日生劇場への“お引っ越し”が決定した。

滝沢演舞城の目玉演目だった、滝沢が白塗りをして女形に変身する「滝沢歌舞伎」を拡大して、バージョンアップ。この滝沢流歌舞伎を日生劇場の目玉として上演する。

この日、滝沢が「『滝沢演舞城』は今回で最後です」と切り出すと、会場からは驚きの声。「２００回までやりたかった。でもいいものをお見せできるよ う頑張ります」と笑顔で誓った。自伝的舞台「Ｏｎｅ」（０６年）を演じた思い出の地、日生劇場での新境地の開拓に意欲を燃やしていた。

3) According to J-net, there’s Takki in the TV Pia released today (5/13 issue).

4) Takki will be on the cover of next week’s TV Guide (5/9 ~ 5/15 issue)! It’s been a while since we have Takki on the cover of a television mag ne! Since Yoshitsune perhaps, since that was his last drama series. We need more Takki drama!! Please… I hope after the solo tour, there’ll be a drama for him… Onegaishimasu!!

5) According to the listings printed in TV Life, Takki will appear on Tokuban (Utaban) on 5/10! The last time Takki went on the show, he was asked to get into the tub half-naked lol… which reminds me of an unfinished task :)

  1. I was laboriously reading that article from Daily Sports. Thanks for scanning it!

    They are suddenly having a mini media blitz for Takki. I think they could have done a little more promos for him earlier on. Of course, for his first single and this one, he was very busy with butais. It was different with Koi Uta, when they were both free and could devote a lot of time to it. However, I can’t help thinking something more could have been done, rather than waiting till just a few days before the release.

    Compare with all the drum beating for Kat-tun’s releases, for instance. Granted, in their case, it is their bread and butter. Nevertheless…

  2. simone~ yea, i get what you mean, but i think we shud be thankful that at least this single wasn’t released during enbujo… i still didn’t know how takki managed promos (or the lack of it) for ai kakumei back in january lol. this time, he has about 2 weeks~ better than nothing :) though i wish they’ll have more billboards or posters to at least INFORM the ippan ppl that such a single exists!

  3. yeah, mich… some avex artists even get sky big billboards and sea of flyers and posters and singing truck!!! i want something like that, at least the billboards and posters… but avex has this great talent of letting takki’s fans down, i hope they’ll do more for takki… takki has been treating the company and the staffs so dearly, he deserves to be treated much better than any other avex artist…

  4. love~ yea, in jan, there was a kinki kids truck playing their single driving around shibuya. plus their PV was playing on the big screen of the buildings, their billboard at harajuku eki. then in mar/apr, it was kattun’s posters everywhere, even on the pillars of the underground train station. we don’t get that with takki or t&t. publicity is important, see what it did for kokuchisezu~ if people dun even know about the single, there’s no way they can even consider buying it.
