1) HD Takki Cut has been added to the Shounen Club 2009.11.01 post.
2) GACKT will stage his butai at Nissei Theatre from May 14 to May 28, 2010, according to the Nissei official website. During senshuuraku of Enbujo’09 this year, Takki mentioned that Enbujo will be renamed to “Takizawa Kabuki” and staged at Nissei in “April/May next year”. I guess most likely it’ll be April… or maybe April plus the first week of May…
3) In a magazine called “CINEMA SQUARE”, there is an interview of Morimoto Shintaro, 12 year old Johnnys Jr who’s starring in the movie, Snow Prince. He was asked “Which part of Takki do you like?”, and he answered “He is really skillful in his acting. And I can see that even in concerts, for the things that he has to do, he works harder than anyone else. That attitude… or perhaps I should say… how he get on with things that we can never do… is cool.”

I am sure we are going to see Takki once again working himself to the bone and getting emaciated. And this year he didn’t even have the escapes to Guam and Hawaii he had last year!
Takki is a wonderfully talented workaholic. I think though that while in his world even little kids like Morimoto recognize it, he doesn’t get enough acclaim from the general public. The new Kinki Kids single got way more sales than ヒカリã²ã¨ã¤ for a song that I think is only OK (with all due respect to Koichi and Tsuyoshi).
i love shintaro. and i adore him. and it makes me happy even more knowing that he look up to Tackey. makes him one notch higher on my likable list.
