I almost got a heart attack just now when I saw Kat’s sms!! She said Tono fell down during the rope performance!! That’s during Act 1 of Jinsei Kakumei. I was so worried, I called her immediately, and she was queuing up for the toilet during intermission… She said Tono’s hand slipped or something, and (I think, fortunately) he fell onto Kitayama who was holding the rope (thank you, Kitayama~). It was from quite a height. But they continued with the show as though it didn’t happen, so I guess they’re alright.
There’s still an evening show tonight (doing the same stunt), and more shows until 6th Feb. I hope Takki and the team will be free from injuries until the end of the run.
[Update: It was during the last part of the stunt where Tono was spinning around the rope with just one arm gripping onto the loop, and Kitayama was spinning the rope around Tono… that it happened. He asked Kitayama if he was alright, and later bowed to the audience. Kat said that Takki looked angry with himself at that moment… Well, the evening show just started. Let’s pray everything will go smoothly~ Ganbatte!!]

the evening show ended safely :) otsukaresama deshita! seems like they changed the rope segment a bit, takki didn’t climb up the rope at the beginning like he always does. instead, he stands on the stage, the loop is lowered and he puts his hand thru, then the rope is raised and he does the spinning thing in the air? i’m not sure if i read it correctly… but it’s good that they adapted so fast to the situation.
i guess the bruises will start to hurt only tonight or tomorrow. but there’s no afternoon show tomorrow, so i hope both of them will have as much rest as possible…
Now this was a shock! I am grateful that you could talk to Kat right away and she confirmed Tono was in one piece. How like him to ask to ask Kitayama quickly if he was OK, and yes, arigatou Kitayama! I bet they both have bruises.
Did Tono not wear gloves? I remember he had lost his old pair.

Hi Minna, I did not see Tono walking unusually. But maybe tat was becos I’m sitting all the way at the back. But I’ve just confirm with some Taiwan friends seeing tonight’s show that he’s fine! That’s a total relief! And he took more precaution during that rope show. Sorry I did not see if Tono ask Kitayama whether he’s alright, cos I’m so shocked and worried that my tears gland just gave way. But I’m sure being Tono, he would do that.
When tono fall onto Kitayama, it’s a back to back contact, so I think there’s nothing wrong with his legs. I’m more worry about his hands and back though. Luckily, Tono falls to where Kitayama is, which is right below. I cant imagine how it’ll be like if he flown off to other part of the stage during the spin! *shivered* The other 2 Kisumai holding the other 2 ropes are also stunned and cant do anything since they are required to secure the ropes. Poor Kitayama got a stunned look on his face after being landed on. Honto ni arigatou ne, Kitayama-kun!
Simone, Tono did not wear gloves during the rope show. I don’t think he did so last year too.
RR just told me that Tsukada (ABC) was also injured during Jinsei Rev recently and was unable to participate in the SC. Hopefully Tono and the rest will complete the shows without any more accidents. *Pray to all types of gods*

Hi Hi, I’ve watch today’s Takirev and he wore gloves today. It’s quite safe cos the rope was lowen to him and he wrap them around his arm securely and then the rope lift him off the stage.
During the ship scene, when he was at the head of the boat, (wen whales appear time) the head of the ship where tono was standing did not return to original position so he wink to Hashi, but I tink Hashi had not much on stage experience to react immediately. Luckily, it was Kitayama who react 1st and reach out to pull Tono to the ship so that he could jump from the side.
I think he looks tired today. But what’s important is that there are no major accident. Hashi when doing miracle world also seems lack of enthu.. I tink they must have stayed back to rehearse til late yesterday due to the accident. >.<

Kat, are you in there watching the shows right now ? I just got back last night from Tokyo. Just managed to watch 2 shows of Takizawa Kakumei & 1 show of Jinsei Kakumei. Gosh, the shows are great and beautiful, cried because I never expect these shows will moved me that much, I meant I watch Enbujou several times already, and I guess I expected almost the same, but then…our Tackey….can’t describe with words how I felt when I watched the shows, my heart full of love for Tackey, he’s so great and kakkoi hehe. Love all the musics and songs sang by Tackey in Kakumei. I’m really glad when he fall I already returned otherwise I will shout my concern for him. Thank Gods he’s ok, hope he didn’t bruise too much. So many things detail I wanna tell, but Mich, Kat also can tell you later. I tried to send you sms asking if I can get you any goodies for Kakumei, but don’t know why my sms failed (said barred ?). As usual, I bought all the goodies ; 3 shopping bags, 4 photo albums, 2 posters, 3 sets of postcard type A,B,C, all photographs Tackey during Kakumei, 2 diaries, 2 pamphlets, 5 calendar stickers that cost me a lot…wuiih…anything for Tackey. In fact, because due to my tight schedule at work, I can only sneak the time during weekend to watch 3 shows, plan to return on early Feb if I still can have my hands to get the tickets. Both Takizawa and Jinsei Kakumei are beautiful, Tackey dedicated all his passion in these shows.

Yes, Tono seems to have the best chemistry with Kitayama and Fujigaya. They seem to guess what he will do ahead of him…

I was sooo surprised when I read about Takki fell down.
It reminded me of the times when I found out that Tsubasa broke his foot. All the worries and scare was just too much.
I’m glad Takki doesn’t have any fatal injury.

juz a small update here. during yesterday’s show, apart from the rope stunt, there were 2 other notable changes made to the show. and both involved running up/down the stairs. first one was when he usually runs down the stairs with yukihime, and the second was at the end (introduction of cast) where he usually walks up and down the steps beside the airplane. instead, takki walked in from the sides. some fans saw him running in a weird way. seems like he might have hurt his leg afterall… but apart from these 3 changes, everything was the same, there was bunjee, free fall, and all the fighting scenes etc… and he was smiling a lot (during shalala), laughing and cracking jokes about the fireflies, skeleton & catchball with nikijiji etc… i think he doesn’t want his fans to worry ne. let’s just hope that everything will go smoothly until senshuuraku!! we’ll post more detailed reports soon~
This is one of those times I’m actually glad that I’m getting this news late. *whew* At least this way I know that Takki is essentially okay from the fall. That must have been horribly scary to see it happening for those there. I’m glad Kitayama is okay & thankful that he was there to break the fall!

i was watching the WS clip this morning, and i guess the height he fell from was about 1-2 storeys high. you can put almost 2 kitayamas in the space between him & tono… but at least they’re doing some things to make sure it’s safer and the injuries aren’t aggravated. can’t wait for the entire show to be over, so that he can have a good rest…
I remember someth.. during Miracle World, Tono seems to jump lesser too. Last year, he at least jump 3x before Hashi and also right at the end, he’ll jump? This year after Kismai Tanamori, he jump once. Then during the last part, when he’s supposed to jump, he push Hashi to jump the thru’ the “water boxes” 3x. Mich, is it different from your shows?
kat~ when i went, he’ll let tamamori jump first, then he jumps once (thru a heart shape?), then he’ll let hasshi jump thru many small funny shapes. but after hasshi, he was always the last one to jump, back and forth a few times (during the “miracle miracle miracle” part), to end the segment. u mean on 1/25, he didn’t jump at the end? ehh… but i think yesterday’s shows ended smoothly too. for today’s shows, yoroshiku onegaishimasu m(_ _)m
