Takki Tidbits

TV Guide - Takki and Ryo1) There is an article on the behind-the-scenes of the cover shoot of the TV Guide 6/26 issue, with Takki and Ryo on the cover. Here’s a rough translation of it.
This week’s cover features Takizawa-kun and Ryo-kun, co-stars of the new drama “Orthros no Inu”.They have conflicting roles in the drama, but because smiles are after all the best for covers, they gave us their beaming smiles.Next is of course the photoshoot for the two of them. Of course, the shot on page 3 was not photoshopped together. Having the faces of two beautiful people close together… Everyone around them gasped… But when the photographer gave his okay to the shot, the two immediately broke into laughter. Apparently, they rarely have shoots where they’ve had to get so close, so they were trying as hard as they could not to laugh during the shoot.

Next is the photoshoot for the pictures on page 4 to 5. After shooting the first pose, they were asked to “continue with an opposite pattern.” They were sitting side by side and they got up and moved/stretched out their hands and heels at the same time. It was so synchronized, it was like it was planned, it was quite a pleasant sight.

For the two, it is the first time they’ve co-starred together in a drama, despite having met each other 10 years ago. At the time, their impressions of each other were convincing & hilarious!? Please read about this episode in the front page interview!

2) On the morning of 6/16, there was some kind of shoot that occurred in front of a train station and at a shopping district. The eyewitness wrote that Takki seemed to be wearing a black suit. She was also lucky enough to have been able to watch from only a meter away. We couldn’t find the eyewitness’ blog, but a part of her post was posted at an Orthros no Inu bbs :
In the morning, after returning home from shopping, I passed by the entrance of a certain train station and I saw something that looked like a shoot. As I wondered “What kind of shoot is this?”, I tried looking and it was Takki~

Takki was wearing a red helmet with the word LOVE written on it and he was coming through the ticket gate. In an arcade located inside a small shopping alley in front of the station, he was battling against another person who was wearing a black helmet. They went at it repeatedly. They were perhaps shooting at such a place because there aren’t a lot of people who go through this minor station? I’m not a fan of Takki’s, but I unexpectedly felt really excited when I saw him in person. But I guess it can’t be helped. Takki is after all in Johnny’s. He is the sempai of Matsujun and YamaP, whom I like. ← Even though that has got nothing to do with it. When Takki took a break, and I was close by and saw his face from the front, I got carried away and waved at him. Surely, he must’ve been thinking “What?”, but Takki smiled and nodded at me. Thank you, Takki~

It was my first time seeing Takki in person. He was glowing and super good looking~ Takki has the aura of a really mature man and he’s also sexy. Like different from the Takki that I saw during the Junior days ← How long has this been?

I couldn’t see anything else but the image of a cute Takki, but he has completely become a man. I’ve gotten older too. I can only sigh at such a truly beautiful face.

On the same day at around noon, Takki was seen at another shoot in Asakusabashi. He was wearing black clothes, so this was probably a shoot for Orthros.
3) According to the major newspapers, Takki announced that he has already booked Teikoku Gekijou for his January production – which will most likely be Takizawa Kakumei. However, Kota Yabu of HEY!SAY!JUMP is going to be the zachou of his own stage play “SHE LOVES ME” at the same time, from December 12 to January 31. SHE LOVES ME will be taking place in Theatre Creation, just five blocks away from Teikoku Gekijou. According to Sanspo, Kota-kun told the press that “As his backdancer, I’ve always watched Takizawa-kun from behind, so to stand on stage as his rival actually makes me happy. I want to work in hopes that i will not lose to Teikoku.”
