Opening Talk

「Good evening, this is Takizawa Denpajou’s Takizawa Hideaki. Recently, i got some time off and i’ve been using that time to do various things. For the first time, i started playing on a golf course! It felt great~ But there are a lot of mannerisms and various things that i dont know about golf. When it was my turn, everyone was really quiet. We didnt know that we couldn’t talk during the game… so when staff-san and i were chatting and i said something like “Really!?” cady-san angrily shushed us. Scolding someone who is 27 years old, it was a nostalgic experience.」

2 nights ago on the radio program Music Paradise, “Shalala” entered the charts at #19. Midway through the song, Takki’s comment was played…

To everyone who’s listening to Myuupara (Music Paradise) Wednesday, good evening, this is Takizawa Hideaki.

Well then, today is the release of my 2nd solo single “Shalala” and “Mugen no Hane”. Have you checked it out already? About the jackets this time, to say it simply, I stripped.

From the very beginning, the image of the song was somewhat sexy and very adult-like. After talking about how good it’d be if we could express a mature kind of sex appeal, we also talked about taking a picture of the upper half of my half-naked body. But we were afraid that people would say “What is this?” in reaction to the nude jacket covers so I suggested we do some body painting and write Shalala on my body.

When you look at the CD jacket sideways, you can see that it was painted in the shape of a woman’s kiss mark. This jacket cover is what most would call art and it made Takizawa stand out from the rest of the picture. If you’re interested, please go to the CD shop and ask “Where is the half-naked Takizawa?” Then I think the employees should hand you the Shalala/Mugen no Hane CD. Everyone, please check it out.

And this time there are 2 types of first press limited editions, and a regular edition. A total of 3 types of jackets. Each of them contains different contents and has its own special features and videos, so if you’re interested, I would like you to check all three of them.

Next time please allow me to enter the studio (as guest) again, I thank you in advance for your support. This was Takizawa Hideaki.

Translation by Bon-chan:

The theme is “ways to relax.” The time when you can relax is indeed when you’re in a bath, isn’t it? I basically love to take baths and as often as I can, I try to add in a touch of bathing powder (one that I use almost daily). While bathing, I would massage my legs and every day, I’ll soak them for a long period of time. I think it feels the best when I drink Jikashibori Chu-hai after getting out of the bath. Everyone, if you like, why don’t you try it for yourself?

♪ Shalala

My new single Shalala and Mugen no Hane will be released on May 6th and as a continuance from January’s Ai Kakumei, this song (Mugen no Hane) was also self-composed by me.

About Mugen no Hane… Time-wise, this song took me about three days to compose. Just editing and re-writing the chorus, I made an A melody and a B melody, and ended up making three different patterns of the chorus. For three days, I struggled through it and wrote the lyrics after I had finished making the melody. It was like I had only decided on the theme for Mugen no Hane when I began writing lyrics for it. At first, I thought I would write about the friendship between men. But gradually, it became a song about love. If you’d like, please check it out.

At the end of June, my solo tour will begin, so please come to the shows!

Summary of 3.28.2009 Denpajou

before the Denpajou translation… i found a bit more info about the short video clip. When they thought they hit something, Takki got out of the car to check. But no one or nothing was there. Takki got back into the car and was about to drive off when they saw a splatter of blood on the windshield. And then there’s something about the close-up view of a ghost’s eye…

thats creepy ne~ i guess we’ll just have to wait until Mich + Kat are back from Takki-land to find out what really happened in the clip!

Summaries of Recent Denpajou’s

On last week’s Denpajou (3/14), Tono talked about his recent interest in cooking. He doesn’t do it a lot, but for some reason he suddenly felt like making something. “I havent cooked in a long time… I wonder if theres anything at home (that i can cook)… i feel like eating pasta… Maybe i’ll try and make it this time…” So Tono tried to make a Japanese-style pasta, adding soup stock, spinach, bacon, garlic, chili pepper, and small fish (jako) to it. And surprisingly, it tasted really good and he made it again the next day XD

Tono also talked about his weird grocery-shopping habit. Japanese shopping carts are smaller and are designed to hold two baskets – one on the top and one on the bottom. When Takki goes to the supermarket (as he often does), he usually uses and fills up two of those carts (meaning four baskets of groceries). All the obaa-chans and shoppers holding only one basket would look at him like “is he ok? does he really need that much?” But Takki says that one basket would normally be piled with drinks, so the other three are for the other groceries.

On this week’s Denpajou (3/21), Tono played the full version of his new song “シャ・ラ・ラ” and talked about his recent shopping spree. Recently, he’s been busy rehearsing for Enbujou, but when he heard about the Yamada electronics sale at the Fukuoka Yahoo!Japan Dome (on 3/14), he begged OT and said that he “wanted to go no matter what.” Being a good Manager-san, OT made some time and they went to the Home Appliances Fair with one other guy (info from Mixi eye witness).

And as a reward to himself for the effort that he put into Takizawa Kakumei, he bought a bunch of things like TV(s), computer(s), digital camera(s), a HDD recorder, and etc. Apparently, most of the goods were set up on the stadium ground and people would rush over to grab what they wanted. Takki said that he now truly understands how women/mothers feel during a department store sale XD

Here is a picture of what the Fair looked like.
